Till now Salman has played a double role in only one film, and that was Judwaa. Now, 17 years since that film, the superstar is gearing up to play double roles in two of his forthcoming movies.
It's heard that Salman Khan, who had once made a commitment to himself that he would only do another double role for Judwaa sequel, is now in a dilemma. The actor is supposed to play double roles in two back-to-back releases -- Anees Bazmee's No Entry Mein Entry and Sooraj Barjatya's next Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. And the actor's main concern is it shouldn't be an overdose of him for his fans.
Sources claim that Salman Khan doesn't want to be seen in every frame of the film that he stars in, and two back-to-back films would mean excess of his screen presence. Not to forget, he also stars in Kabir Khan's next, slated for a 2015 release.
To ensure that Salman's roles aren't the same in the two films, director Anees Bazmee has been instructed to work on his character in No Entry Mein Entry.
"We are aware that Salman is playing a double role in both films. Luckily for us Sooraj is a very different filmmaker from me. What he would be doing in his film would be very different from what we'd be doing. However, we are taking precautions to avoid any similarity," Bazmee is quoted as saying.
Yes, both films are going to be as different as chalk and cheese. While Sooraj's film is a family drama, Bazmee's movie will be a comic caper.
