As a Madhuri fan, I will not deny that she did the b00bs / @ss shake dances, but she did not stop at that. She went beyond that in her dancing. Will Katrina go beyond Kamli and Malang. She is a wonderful dancer, no doubt, but she is limited and that is a fact. She is a method dancer - she is taught it and she takes months or weeks or whatever to master it. There is no way she will be able to get on stage and emulate another actress / dancer spontaneously. I remember Madhuri and Sridevi on stage lately - so graceful and spontaneous both of them. Even in a movie, I do not think that Katrina will be able to participate in dance off songs like Madhuri and Karisma did. But this is all my opinion. Also, even though I do not think that she will ever be equivalent to Madhuri, Sridevi or Aish, I do think that she works very hard and she makes that hard work pay off. Katrina is aware of her limitations and she never goes anyway near what she knows she cannot pull off. That is her strength - she is sensible, knows her limitations and then works very hard at what she does - that is the reason she is sitting at the top right now.

No. But still I would say katrina is a awesome dancer. She has a sexy body & shes flexible. I loved her dance in Chikni, Sheila & kamli.

I opened this topic because like someone said Madhuri was considered to be the best dancer during her prime, then it was Aish and now its Katrina. All 3 are perceived as the best dancers of their generation so comparison is inevitable.

To those asking whether Madhuri/Aish could have done SKJ, CC or Kamli then the answer is yes. I'm not sayin Madhuri/Aish would have done SKJ, CC, Kamli miles better than Kat or anything like that. Nevertheless they could have done those songs effortlessly.

Ahkiyan Milao, crazy kiya re, Dhoom Again, Kay Sera Sera, that Robot song all have Western choreography and were performed amazingly and efforlessly.

Besides I don't see the big deal in Kamli, the extraordinary moves, such as backflips, jumps body twisting were done by a body double. So Katrina didn't technically perform them. It was an visual illusion guys.
