Rajev recalls his Maldives experience!

Sometime back it was Chetan Hansraj who holidayed alone by extending his stay in Bangkok after shooting for Anthony Kaun Hai. And now it is Rajev Paul who's back from holidaying all by himself in the spectacular islands of Maldives.

"Delnaaz does not like water at all while I have been a swimming champion," reveals the dimpled actor. "I enjoyed parasailing, para gliding, diving and all the water sports. Snorkeling was real fun and it was an actually experience to actually witness sea traffic with small, colourful boats navigating. I got an opportunity to observe underwater life, octopuses, starfish and flat fish."

Apart from this the actor also went sightseeing and found Maldives simply breathtaking and heavenly. Almost reliving his experience, Rajev says, "The rooms open out into the sea, the water is crystal-clear and you can see the fishes below. I went walking under water in the lagoons with mini sharks for company."

Rajev was also excited to see the sea change its colour from transparent to green to blue and diving in the coral islands was an out of this world experience for this petite actor.

He was the state guest of Mohammed Shauqi, the Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation of Maldives, who made his stay wonderful. "I was chosen by Star News to visit the exotic islands of Maldives," says a grateful Rajev.

So, did people recognize him as an actor from India in Maldives? He says, "yes, some people did associate me with Kavyaanjali. I felt proud to be a part of the television industry. But what he enjoyed the most was the seafood, "huge jumbo prawns and I can't remember the amazing number of fish delicacies. I must have savoured," says Rajev who did miss his wife Delnaaz in one of the most romantic destination on the earth!
