''Aashu,main acchi lagrahi hu na?' Riya asked Aayesha for the umpteenth time.Ayesha nodded in negative and held Riya's shoulders and made her look towards the mirror.
''Bohut khubsurat lagrahi ho,Riya... Bhagwaan tumhe bohut khush rakkhe aur har nazar se bachaye...(applies a kala tika behind her ears)... Waise,aaj toh pura confirmed hai hum,ki,aaj toh Arjun sir tumhe dekhke fully flat hojayenge,dekhna..''
''Dhattt...'' Riya blushed and soon they went downstairs in the hall for the engagement ceremony...
Arjun was sitting on a big chair on the dais,while,Shree,Chotu and Sameer was beside him,giving him moral support,while,Liza and Sakshi went to bring the Aarti ki Thaal and Engagement rings. Soon,Riya came down in a stone-embellished pink lahenga with minimal jewellery.Arjun lost in the ethereal beauty of Riya,who was soon going to become the wife-to-be of him. Arjun,being a gentleman,got up from his chair and held her hand and helped her to get on the stage.
Panditji started doing the Tilak and called Arjun's Daijaan to perform the Aarti on Riya.She came forward and did the Aarti and blessed her.She made Riya wear the ancestral bangles of Arjun's mom.Tears formed in Riya's eyes,by looking at the bangles.She thanked Daijaan and Arjun and promised them that she will keep Arjun happy and also,the whole Rawte household,as well.. While,Riya's Dida came forwards and performed the Tilak and presented him with ancestral heirloom,a gold chain,which was kept by her for Riya's groom.Arjun was touched by this gesture and promised Dida that he will keep Riya happy.
''Ab kanya apne honewale mangetar ko anguthi pehnaye..'' Dida took out the ring from the box and gave it to Riya.Riya took it and slid it into Arjun's ring finger of his left hand.Everybody clapped and showered flower petals on them...
''Ab jaajmaan apni honewali mangetar ko anguthi pehnaye..'' Daijaan took out the ring and gave it to Arjun,who slid the ring in Riya's ring finger of her left hand. Everybody clapped loudly and showered flowers on the newly engaged couple.
''Sagaai sampann hui.. Ab larke ki Daijaan larki ko shagun ki mithai khilaye aur larki ki Dadi larke ko...''
Soon,Daijaan fed a spoon of Shagun ki Kheer to Riya and Dida also fed Arjun,a spoonful of Kheer..Later,the newly engaged couple took the blessings of Dida and Daijaan and later on,Sameer,Aayesha,Shree,Chotu,
Liza and Sakshi hugged and congratulated them... Arjun and Riya were made to sit on the sofa where the guests were sitting,while,the otheres were getting ready fo their small performances...
Soon,they stage was set for the performances and the host came and started the programme.Sameer and Aayesha danced first,while,Shree-Liza danced second and Chotu-Sakshi in third... They also gave some group performances,as well...At one point,they dragged Arjun and Riya in their performance,as well..
Soon,it was time for Arjun's time to reveal his special surprise.. He went towards the stage and grabbed the mike.Sameer handed Arjun a guitar and sat on a high-chair.
''Hello everyone... Aaj main bohut zyada khush hu,kyunki,aaj meri sagaai meri jeene ki wajah se hogayi hai,meri Riya se... Aaj main jo hu,sirf tumhari wajah se...Yeh gaana tumhare liye,Riya... I love you,Riya...''
''I love you too,Arjun..'' She blew a flying kiss towards him,to which,he captured it and rubbed it over his chest...

While singing,he only meant that Riya is the special person in his Life,after Roshni,who made him feel that he also can live a normal,happy Life like others.Nothing can be compared to Riya's love and utmost care..All the while,his gaze was fixed on Riya,while he sang.

As Arjun sang,other couples' also danced to the melodious tune,while,Arjun left his guitar and came down to dance with Riya.He took Riya in his warm embrace and started to dance.

Throughout the whole song,Arjun expressed his love and care and the respect he holds for Riya.He was really blessed to have such an understanding,tru,loving and caring life-partner in his Life.He softly pecked her forehead and hugged her tightly.Everybody clapped for the newly-engaged couple and prayed to Ganpati Bappa to keep them happy and together,always.
