I just finished watching todays episode - mind blowing for both Jai and Bani, but I have to admit I am beginning to wonder what Ekta is thinking of.
The Bani incarnation of today is becoming HATEFUL. We the audience knows what she is doing and why, but what she is saying to Jai is literally cruel. I wonder if Ekta really feels that with the kind of dialogue of today where Jai says he's lost faith (which is the only thing that keeps us humans alive and together), a reconciliation between the two is even possible? No matter what Bani's intentions are and we know they are good, she's broken Jai. Even when Jai finds out what she did and figures out that she did it because of her love, will he ever trust or have faith again in her again? And why does Bani keep saying that she wants the alimony/divorce? Jai has already said he will give it to her without contest, Tarun has already told her this. So why do we keep hearing her say this - am I missing something from a legal standpoint? Or did Jai change his mind without our knowing. Ekta - please keep some consistency in what you show the audience. The divorce/alimony is a done deal - it just needs to go before a judge. His hating her won't make a difference.
Speaking from personal viewpoint, once trust/faith is lost, everthing is lost so regardless of whether she saves his property or not, he has already lost everything. What Ekta doesn't realize is that you can rebuild everything except TRUST. No matter what shape or form the storyline now takes, its no longer going to be as realistic as it has been up to now. The show which has shown the journey of Jai and Bani coming together has now veered off completely. Perhaps this is what Nivedita Basu meant when she said the show was going into the second track. Whether Jai and Pia form a couple - either to make Bani jealous or not, will not make a difference. Nor will showing a Bani/Pushkar or Bani/Tarun pairing make a difference. This show has now gone off track. Jai is broken - he has lost his faith in her and once faith is lost, everything is lost.
