Changing equation of Astha-Anjali relationship

i really loved this scene. i remember another scene during the marriage where she was touched by aastha's genuine love. its the first time we saw niranjan actually beat up anjali. she puts on the concealer and comes down for grihpravesh though she was shaken on the inside. aastha says that she wants to take her blessings before niranjan's because a woman is who holds the family together. anjali gets emotional and later in aastha's room, she guides her like a mother and ties a raksha on her hand. that was also a great bonding scene.

Great post Jia, it was the best scene today with Astha and Anjali while sewing the buttons on Shlok's shirt.

and loving it that anjali astha scenes are becoming so interesting and pull at the heart..in a nice way.
Its like eating a nice yummy chocolate after eating an overtly spiced dish..just like how Anjali Astha relation was before.
This, actually is Shlok's true purpose in marrying Astha. We all are diverted to think Shlok married Astha for revenge for NA, or Shlok married Astha to take revenge from SWati...but all that is crap.
Shlok married Astha, because he wants Anjali , his mother to become her former self, her natural self and not tolerate stuff from NA. He found a woman perfect for that job...Astha . Loving, caring, never gives up on a good cause, patient, ready to speak her mind, put him in his place and cherry on the cake is she loves to fight with him.
He married Astha, so that through AStha the issues of his house can be fixed. and his mother's heart can be mended.
Today we say Astha mending the shirt. But in reality, on an emotional level, its Anjali's heart that was being healed...that was being mended. Her heart is drying up and become cold. Astha is now thawing it..the thanks Aai moment pulled at Anjali.Beautiful.

I wouldd also love to see how she was as a mother to Shlok before all this SWati thingy..I am sure Shlok was very very close to her.Maybe he asked her to choose between him and NA...and Anjali chose NA.Lets see.

Anjaliji as a "MOTHER - IN - LAW", teach Aastha some LAWS that is needed for her to strengthen her relation with Shlok ; Anjaliji plays the role of "MOTHER" for Aastha in "LAWS"...

Even though I am watching this series for an intense love story, I love the character of Anjali. She has this mystery surrounding her. I liked one scene where Aastha-Anjali bonded today.

These 2 ladies have come a long way. Anjali have always abhored Astha for her childish, impulsive, immature nature. She didn't want Shlok to marry Astha because she is afraid that Aastha will change the house rules. Also may be because she sees herself in Astha. She used to compare Astha with her own daughter Jyothi who is not happy. Be it after marriage when she wanted to keep Astha away from Shlok or pati-pujan when she wanted to mend Astha as timid girl obeying the laws of house. But seems like Shlok's hatred towards Astha is changing this equation. She is even on a mission to change Astha into her 'Aks' as NA wants to but she herself loathes that idea, her reactions when NA talks to her about this and during the party was quite evident. She has failed as a mother to all her 3 children and always has detached herself from any emotional attachment. But, with Astha she is developing some kind of bond unknowingly.

This week itself we have seen her supporting Astha, be it with Aditi or Shlok. Today we had a beautiful scene between these 2 ladies. Astha asking Anjali's help and Anjali chiding her but still helping her. When Astha calls Anjali "Aai" spontaneously, Anjali's reactions were so good. It as if Aastha has pulled her heart's strings and all those emotions which she has tucked away some where deep inside her heart. This is the best scene till date between these 2 ladies. The scene also means something else, Aastha taking help to mend Shlok's shirt that means symbolically Aastha needs Anjali's help to mend Shlok's behavior as well.

Similarly take the tulsi plant scene Anjali gave Astha importance and asked her to fix the problem. That means that her trust in Aastha is increasing day by day. Its not that they now share a hunky-dory relationship but slowly and steadily these 2 are developing a strong bond.

PS: I really hope they don't turn this into a saas-bahu saaga. I think I told this umpteen times, will say again. CV's please keep it as a intense love story.
