Of course...shaadi ke side effects has been released with better than decent openings. Wasn't banned in Rajasthan. Good for Ekta Kapoor and others associated with the movie. I havent seen the movie but most of my Indian friends didn't think much of it... But wait till the next movie...I bet you that you and I will see some other version of a drama involving JA/ EK/ BT or some another controversy right before the next movie is released. Since they have to do something to explain RKS's silence right now (cant be difficult to buy 1-2 leaders and the 'supporters'...why pay them when their services are not immidiately required? ) hence the news of the issue being sorted out ... I tried explaining this in my posts right after the recent protests. No one was in the mood to listen. Everyone was busy bashing the Karni Sena and feeling sorry for poor Ms Kappor ( while she was laughing on her way to the bank... Spend two minutes on thinking about what she really thinks of us ). I have nothing against her except for the fact that she treats us like fools...can't blame her...we give her every reason to. I understand that being shrewd is a necessity to be a successful businessperson...we all do it ...but compromising on principles and expoliting people's emotions is certainly not a necessity...it is downright dirty. Bash me all you can...I love you all but give a damn when it comes to this. 😊
I am disappointed with the very intellegent and well read indian population. How can they not see through this drama? Isn't this a pattern? And we let ourselves get fooled again n again n again.
Pay attention to the movies she chooses to make...they are all low/ medium budget and revolve around lust, sex , controversy or some other cheap and sellable subject. Co- incidently a controversy happens right before the movie is released. Btw can anyone confirm that she is definately not the producer of JA anymore ( if not, then who is taking home the millions collected by ads) ...or will not come back after all the movies are released( esp in Rajasthan/ some other pockets in north India...a big market)
I love and respect smart people but can't choose to ignore people like her who think they are way too smart for common Indians . They creat a controversy...make money of it... Earn the sympathy of masses...and dont get exposed. How convenient . Even if we continue to see the show, at least acknowledge that we are doing it purely for entertainment reasons and can see through these cheap and repetitive tricks. We choose to be entertained... Not fooled. If she is a good producer...good for her...but I choose to choose principles over entertainment. Trust me but there are better ways to make money. If you guys don't agree with me. That is fine😊. It is not going to make me stop respecting you or your opinions. I too have fallen for such people, their fake promises, sweet and convincing talks, enviable dramas...it reflects the innocence in us...but in this case, my innocence has taken a back seat. I can see through this game. Can you?
