I do respect your POV😊Yes, he should have tried more to convince uncle..but at the moment all that he cared for is Avni's happiness! Even if he had tried a lot, uncle might not be convinced! He just di'n want to take any chance..So he flew away with the lehenga! If Raj has done something similar to favour himself, I would have considered it wrong! But he's in love and can do anything to bring a smile on her face! Yes, even if she really asks for a kohinoor, he'll try his best to bring that.. But yeah.. all this suits only for daily soaps/movies. In real life nothing of that sort might happen, but it's dream world where one can go to any extent to bring the smile on the face of loved ones!
Coming to Avni, I agree with you totally! Her character is shown to be childish ever since the beginning.. She believes whatever she sees and doesn't try to know the truth.. and in this case too she's more concerned about her Lehenga than her dear brother sangeeth!
But at the end of the day, this is the beginning of a perfect lovestory of two immature imperfect people! I would love to see the evolution of their characters into much matured ones as the story progresses!
Yaa.. its only Raj and his loved ones hapiness which matters for him.. what about that uncle's happiness with which he brought that lehnga for his wife. Raj did a very good job in makin avni understnd when she was confused over AKshat and Arpita's lie about their love marriage. He should have done the same thing now.

true. has there ever been a time where raj has felt genuinely for avni's family members. if you listen to the dialogues he says in mind you'll see that he only cares for avni and his muh boli behen arpita. yes, he's kind to them except abhaas 😳(he's nice to him even) but that's beside my point. Don't get me worng i love raj too, like everyone else but this is just the thing i've observed about him.
