And then one more point. it looks like Birpur is a small village and Chandangarh is a district or sub divisional town, not pretty far off ...so how a married woman who runs off with her paramour to the next or next to next village and the man who also happens to be a very respectable person-- a rajah, marries her and she commands full respect and approbation from the villagers till date.
how can a woman remarry before having a proper divoce ? so her marriage with thakut is naam--ke, she is actually a mistress ?? or when thakur married her, he didnot know she is already married with a son ?? quite impossible, though !
and the villagers, sab toh aspas ka hi gao ka log hain, and rumors spread like forest fires in villages, i hav firsthand experience about it...and itna bada raaz kisiko patah i nehi chala itne din ! dhat !! nothing make any sense...I am predicting yaar, CVs hav already messed this part of the story a lot, be it still has scope for restoration .
