Shikha and Avinash meet with Sameer's fake mom who appears extremely regretful for helping Sameer in getting married to Shikha. She says Sameer had claimed that he's in love and wants to get married to Shikha and that's the only reason she had agreed to help him out. But, after coming to know of Shikha's condition through the media, she's regretting what she did. She apologizes to Shikha and asks for forgiveness. Shikha asks her to appear in court and reveal the truth about Sameer if she's really that apologetic for her mistakes. The fake mom agrees to do so and Shikha appears confident.
At Jagannath's house: Madhurima is watching news about the court case when nanny arrives with Arnav (crying uncontrollably). The nanny says she's unable to console him and asks Madhu for help. Madhu is infuriated and grabs Arnav and starts scolding him. Aditya walks in and tells Madhu that Mahanto is on his way to the room. Madhu changes her tone with Arnav and tries to calm him down gently but Arnav continues crying. Mahanto takes Arnav away.
Madhu enquires about Shikha. Aditya says Shikha was shocked to see Madhu's name on the birth certificate and gloats at the fact that she was unable to unearth any evidence against them.
At Gupta's house in Delhi: Avinash and Shikha arrive back from Mumbai and Sudha asks them about the birth certificate. Shikha tells her about Madhurima and Aditya's name on the certificate. She says they couldn't find anyone who'd help her. The office staff including her boss aren't returning her phone calls. Her best friend has married and settled in America while Raghu (constable) has backed away as well since he's too scared after what happened with Inspector Naik. But she tells Sudha about Sameer's fake mom and how she's agreed to appear in court. Sudha is relieved to hear that.
The next morning Shikha reads newspaper headlines which reads "Famous businessman Aditya Jagganath falsely accused by Nashik's Shikha Gupta". Avinash tries to reinforce her confidence and says that the defense lawyer will try to scare her in court today but she'll have to be brave. Shikha's boss calls and tells her that he will arrive in Delhi to testify against Sameer in court today.
At the court: The Jagannaths arrive (with Arnav). Shikha sees her Maanav and tries to meet him but Avinash intervenes. The court proceedings start and Shikha's lawyer tells the court about the case. Shikha tells her story and Aditya's lawyer questions her. She's asked to remove the veil covering her face and is enquired about the missing sindoor and mangalsutra. Shikha says she'll not wear her mangalsutra for the guy who tried to kill her. Next the lawyer asks about wedding photographs but Shikha says she has none. Sameer's fake mom is asked to appear in the witness box where she claims Shikha gave her money to act as Sameer's fake mother in court. Shikha is shocked. She asks the judge if they could do a DNA test. Aditya's lawyer tells Shikha that her client doesn't have time for all this and the court can't grant permission to DNA testing to each and every woman who'd appear to claim Arnav's mother. She asks Shikha to prove herself as Aditya's wife first and then only she can claim to be Arnav's mom. Shikha's lawyer tells the court that Shikha's boss may take some time to arrive in court (since he's coming from Mumbai). The judge adjourns the court for lunch break. Sudha is shocked to see how the fake mom changed her statement in court. Shikha says she's glad atleast her boss is arriving soon to help her out. Neeraj hears their conversation in the background and leaves. Outside the court, Aditya is seen thanking someone over the phone. Madhu enquires if everything is alright and he replies- "It's perfect". They both grin evilly.
Precap: Shikha says to Aditya that she knows he has gotten her boss kidnapped. She pleads to him not to harm him though as he hasn't done anything. Aditya smirks.
