Hello Everyone!!!

This Is My First Try At Writing Something On AkDha.

Actually I Have Been Wanting For The Dhakka Misunderstand To Be Cleared Out, So I Wrote This Kinda Based On Today's Episode (Though This Isn't The Best Way For MU To Be Sorted Out😆, It's Just That I Really Wished To Pen Something On Them ^__^ )

Forgive Me For The Hindi Part, For I Do Not Know Shudh Hindi, So I Wrote It Based From What I Have Heard From Movies And From The Show.

And Yes, Thank You Beforehand For Taking Out Your Time And Reading This =D

(P.S About The Title, I Really Couldn't Think Of Anything And Just Then I Remembered The Song Start Of Something New From HSM🤣)

(P.P.S I Also Thought Of Writing The Whole Thing In English But Then Shahenshah Jalaluddin And Jodha Begum Conversing In English😲😲😲😆😆😆)

*************************

The Start Of A New Journey

"Kamaal karta hain aap Jodha. Begum, khud toh Koyi na koyi bahaana dhoondte rehte hain hamein choone ko, aur jab hum aap ke paas aate hain, woh bhi aap hi ke bulaane par, aap ko choote hain, toh aap hamein DHAKKA dete ho," Jalal teased once again as he saw Jodha's cheeks growing red-tinted with the blaze of red cherries the moment she realised that she was holding his hands.

However, this was the last nail in the coffin for Jodha.

As far as she remembered, she had never mentioned anything as such in her letter. All she had intended to was to thank The Shehehshah for the belief he had in her and for supporting her during the Adham fiasco. Then why did he feel that she had called him in her Hojre to express her *love* for him. She doesn't love him - rather she didn't love him at that time. Things have changed since then and she had to admit that she did see Shehenshah from another angle now, she has some new feelings for him - unnamed, indescribable ones. But that wasn't the thing.

For the past few days, despite the fact that a cordial, friendly relationship had developed between Shehenshah and her, she resented the fact that he kept taunting him about the DHAKKA of that night. *Ghooma phirake Sirf ek hi baat par aate hain Aur taane maarte rehte hain, Adiyal kahin ke.*

But this time, Jodha had had enough. Just because she kept silent in the previous instances doesn't mean that she would accept to be taunted about the DHAKKA incident all throughout her life. Yes, she did push him, but she had her reasons, she never did that for the sake of humiliating Shehenshah. She did that because he was getting cosy with her and she was left with no other option. *Aaj toh hum unse baat karke hi rahenge* Jodha told herself with determination.

"Kya hum aapse ek prashn pooch sakte hai Shehenshah?" asked Jodha.

"Zaroor Jodha Begum. Aur waise bhi hum nahi bhi bolenge toh aap maan ne waali toh nahi hai. Ziddi Joh tehre. Waise ek baat kahen, Aadiyaalon ki Malikah ka Kheetaab aap ko khoob jajta hain," Jalal said with a glint of mischief in his eyes, while his trademark smirk adorned his lips.

Jodha huffed all the while.

"Taana marna kabhi nahi chorenge na aap. Acha yeh jaane deejiye. Shehenshah, hum apse poochna chahte hain ke aap baar baar humein woh Dhakke ke kisse ke baare mein taana kyun maarte hain jab ke aap ko pata hain ke us raat humne aapko apne kaksh mein uss wajah se nahi bulaaye. Hum toh kewal aapko dhanyevaad karne chahte the. Balki chitthi main bhi humne wohi likha tha. Phir aapne Kuch Aur kaise samajh liya?" Jodha said in one go.

From Jalal's expression, Jodha could make out that he looked shocked. She wondered why as she didn't Cook any stories and only said the truth.

"Jodha Begum, jhoot bolna aap Rajvanshiyon ke izzat ke khilaaf hain, phir aap aisa kyun kehrahi ho, Chitthi main toh Saaf Saaf likha tha ke aap ne Hamein aapne Hojre main bulaaye tha, hamare liye aapke Pyaar ko jataane ke liye."

Jodha looked up at him immediately. She never wrote anything like that so why would she lie. Shehenshah definitely had some misunderstanding. Could it be that someone... No, she didn't want to just assume thing, she had to know the truth today.

"Parantu Shahenshah hum... Aap Hamein ek baat bataiyie kya aapne woh chitthi swayam parhi thi?" Came her question.

At this point, Jalal stood up and went beside the fire. His back turned to Jodha, he took a while before answering.

"Ab aapse kya chupaen Jodha Begum. Yeh baat toh itni Choti bhi nahi ke hum iss pe parda daal sake. Jis umr main Hamein parna, likna chahiye tha, uss umr Mein kalam ke bajaye hamare haath Mein Shamsher diye gaye. Apni Sultanat ko dushmanon se bachane mein hamain waqt hi nahi mila parne aur likhne ke liye. Ajeeb baat hai na Jodha Begum, Hindustaan ka Baadshah, Shehenshah Jalaluddin ko hi parna likhna nahi aata...," finished Jalal with a tinge of sadness.

Feeling the warmth of her hand on his shoulder, Jalal turned around to face Jodha.

"Aapne yeh Kiya aapni Rihaaya, apne Awaam ko dushmanon se bachane ke liye, unke surakshith ke liye, isse zyaada nek Aur uchith kaam kya ho sakta hain Shahenshah?"

"Jodha Begum, aap... Aap ko gussa nahi aaya ke humne aaj tak aap se yeh baat nahi kahi."

"Bilkul bhi nahi Shehenshah, Aur waise bhi, hum chahe iss vishey ke baare Mein pehle se Jaante the ya nahi, iss se yeh baat toh nahi badalti na ke aap kaise Insaan hain, aap ko aapni Awaam ki kitni parwa hain," came her reply.

A moment of silence lingered as both stared at each other. Jalal was happy that Jodha didn't take this matter otherwise. Yes, being illiterate was one of his weakness, but he never showed it. By the grace of the Almighty, Jalal was bestowed with such talents that in a way outweighed that weakness of his. Still, he had to admit that it did matter to him about how Jodha would take the whole thing.

Jodha looked at the man standing in front of her in disbelief. Who could say that such an intelligent person like him, who dealt with serious matters with ease couldn't write or read. Inwardly, she applauded him for never regretting the fact of having such a *weakness*. But one thing was bothering her. If Jalal cannot read, then who had read that letter to him. By now, Jodha was certain of one thing. Someone who wanted to cause a rift between Jalal and her, had purposely read the letter to Jalal in some other way. No wonder, Jalal had thought otherwise, Jodha concluded.

"Parantu Shehenshah, agar woh chitthi aap ne nahi parhi toh kisne parha aap ke liye?"

"BariAmmi ne," Jalal said non-chalantly.

"MahamAngaJi ne???" Jodha exclaimed loudly...

"Haan. Kyun?" "Toh iska matlab..." Both said in unison.

"Aap kehna kya chahti hain Jodha Begum," Jalal said in a stern voice as if he understood what Jodha was thinking. " Aap Achi tarah se jaanti hain ke hamari Zindagi Mein BariAmmi ki kya jagah hai. Woh humse apne bete Adham se bhi zyaada Pyaar karte hain Aur hamesha se hi Hamein Achi nassiyat dete hain Aur hamari khushiyan chahte hain," he continued with disbelief as he never expected Jodha to think like this about his BariAmma. He had made it clear from well before about what place BariAmmi occupies in his life. Then how could she even think about such a thing.

Jodha, who by now had understood the whole thing, decided not to say anything against MahamAnga as she knew that Jalal would never believe her and then she had no proofs either. Unless she would be back to the Mahal, she would not get any proofs, hence she decided to keep mum but wanting to clear the misunderstanding, she continued,

"Nahi nahi Shehenshah aap hamein galat samajh Rahe hain. Hum bhala MahamAngaJi ke baare Mein aise Kyun sochenge. Hum toh yeh soch rahe the, Hamara matlab hain hai ke jaise Shariffudin ne Bakshi Bano ke zariye hamare sharbat main Kuch milaaya taaki aap ko yeh lage ke hum Maa Banne wale hain Aur iss wajah se hum se naraaz ho Kar humse door chale jaaye, kahin aisa toh nahi ke issi tarah, hamari chitthi ko Badal diye gaye taake MahaamAngaJi galat chitthi par Kar, aap ko hamara kaksh mein bheje Aur hum gussa hokar aap ko wahan se chale jaane ko kahe Aur iss waje se hamare beech Mein doori barhe???" Jodha said inwardly wishing for Jalal to believe this white lie of hers.

She knew that had she accused MahamAngaJi right then, Jalal would have never believed her since he trusted his BariAmmi a lot. And right now, they were on their way to the Dargah, so Jodha didn't want them to fight. Ammijaan really wanted them to go together on this trip and wanted to see them happy with each other, she couldn't displease her, could she?

Jodha's words made Jalal wonder. Though he wondered who could have the audacity to do such a low thing, he really wanted to believe her. He wanted to believe that she really never intended to push her out of her Hojra, it was just in the spur of the moment.

"Jodha Begum, toh kya...," Jalal had to leave his questions unfinished as he heard some sounds. Could it be the dacoits the Banjaras were talking about, he thought. Realising that Jodha was with him and that he had to ensure their safety, he picked up a log and motioned to Jodha to keep quiet although she insisted that it might just be a harmless animal moving into the bush.

However, it turned out to be a noble man who invited Jalal Jodha to spend the night at their place, to stay safe from dacoits.

Finding him to be sincere, Jodha told Jalal to move ahead. As they followed the man, Jalal and Jodha were both lost in their respective thoughts. Relieved to have finally sorted out the misunderstanding between them, Jodha had made her mind to get to the root of the matter once she would get back to the Mahal. As for Jalal, he was happy with the fact that Jodha never intended to push him. Alas, this would nevertheless deprive him of his chance to taunt her about that incident from now on. A smile adorned his lips as he remembered how colors used to flood his Begum's cheek on the mere mention of that night.

Up above, two stars twinkled as if expressing their happiness seeing the change in the behaviour of Jalal and Jodha towards each other. This trip, indeed, would prove to be a turning point in their lives. It would mark the start of a new journey of Jalal-Jodha whereby Love might really blossom leaving behind all hatred.

Excellent. Very believeable and this looks like the best way to sort the issue given Jalal is not going to believe anything against MA right now.
