Jassi , bebe & papaji are praying to babaji, just then the phone rings, Jassi wants to pick it up in the middle of the prayers, papaji stops her, They finish the prayer and as soon as she picks up the phone it disconnect. Jassi says that purab ka hoga, Billu says that he wanted to speak to purab , bebe informs that he must have been real busy organising the party. Jassi gets ready to leave for office and inquires if nandu showed up. Bebe and billu deny to know his where abouts, just as jassi is leaving nandu enters the house and tells jassi to give him her hand once she does that, he gives her a gift , its a gold coin in a plastic case, jassi says no that its a very expensive gift and she cannot accept it, she advices nandu to take it back to jeweler and give it back, nandu tells her that it cannot be done and that she has to accept the gift. Jassi insist Nandu runs away from her and she runs behind him, its friendly pakda pakdi ka khel.
Just then someone (delivery boy) comes in he has a lot of gifts in his hand , jassi recives the gift, he also has an enclosing letter to family stating that its a tradition , that the family of the groom comes to present something to the brides family, but as there is none from his side, he is sending it via courier. He also explains that he wanted to bring them him self, but it was supposed that it was not good omen for the groom to bring in the gifts himself, he says please to the family to accepts the gifts on his behalf. He requests jassi to open her gift right before she is coming for the party. After the letter is done reading, nandu remarks to jassi , 'so this is why you didnt wanted my tiny gift as so many big gifts from purab was on thier way' Jassi again runs behind him and he runs away.
Its in the Gulmohar that the gang is getting worried as to how to prepare for thier first time in a PAGE 3 party, Veeru and maria are a bit skeptical, but ruuby, maitheli, nazneen are excited, They make them see the point that the party is going to be like just another party and they should not worry and enjoy. Jassi sees the huddle and she informs them that they should all come to the party and they will enjoy it and they should not worry as Purab wants them there, She also tells them that one thing they SHOULD bring to the party i.e thier Smiles 😃 . Jassi then goes to Armaan's cabin and shows him an album which is having gifts , she asks him as to what should they give the staff this diwali, Armaan inquires as why is the staff so happy and what is the party they are asking about, Jassi informs him that purab is throwing a diwali party and the gang and jassi's family is invited. She also put forths the request that she will also have to go home early to get bebe and Armit dressed, Armaan says and you , you will also need to get dressed, jassi says that she doesnt dresses. Just them Armaan's cell phone rings its, purab , Purab says hello to armaan and say that he is inviting Armaan to the party, Armaan says fthat he cant make it, Purab insist and says that he went to jassi's party and he can sure come to his. Armaan says that he reached Jassi's party by a fluke!! Purab still says that he wants him to come and that jassi will feel good, Armaan says ok. Jassi is happy to hear this. Armaan says that so, now even he will have to leave for house early as he too has to get ready for purab's party.
Jassi is shown in her home dress in a red Salwar Kurta, Billu is wearing a navy blue suit, Amrit is wearing a sari (she looks cool), and bebe is wearing white salwar kameez. As they prepare to leave, billu reminds her of the gift that purab sends, remmember he told her to open it before party, They pick up the box. Billu remarks that it looks like a sweet box, what comes out is a jewellery box, Jassi opens it and finds a very beautiful daimond set, complete with necklace and earings!! Billu brings the mirror and jassi puts the necklace on her self (its perfect for her neck trust me). She says that its a very expensive gift and it wont look good on her. She decides not to wear.
The family reaches the place, the gang is waiting for them in a place something like lobby, it is filled with people with funny hair colors etc (pink yuck!!). Billu ask them as to why they didnt go in, they say that they were not feeling comfortable without the family, billu says so what its purabs party you guys should have meet him. he then escorts everyone in the party, just as they come purab comes to them and wishes them, bebe hands him a specially made thing which they make for diwali, he accepts, bebe then tells him that he is thier damad and she puts a tikka on his forehead. They are talking when Some guest come and invite purab to be with him. he looks at jassi and family for permission and jassi nods he leaves but he says sorry, while he is speaking to guest, jassi looks at him , purab looks at her and mouth's 'So Sorry'. Billu and nandu have reached the drinks table, Nandu is trying to order drink, but he doesnt knows the name, Pinacolada, blaster etc etc, Billu shows off his knowledge of drink(two girls are listening) and tells nandu to learn something about them before drinking . Nandu says that he will learn while drinking 😆. He orders the blaster it comes with some kind of fire in drink and billu thinks that it is on fire and he throws water on nandu and the drink, people around him see in suprise. The gang sees this from a far end. they go laughing towards the family, jassi asks them what happen and if everything is alright, they tell them half info that billu and nandu are at the drinks counter and jassi and bebe gets worried that is billu drinking the gang informs that no billu is not but nandu is trying too. but then goes on to tell the family to not to worry.
Billu doesnt wants nandu to get out of his sight, nandu sees some babes and he wants to approach them, he tells billu that he wants to go to toilet billu allows him and leaves him alone, nandu goes to the party girls and tells them to come to dance with him, they look him (sorry forgot to mention nandu is wearing an old style yellow suit). First the girls say no, then one of them feels meschevious and they say yes, they take him to center stage and dance with him very close and touching him, and making fun of him. He feels uncomfortable and moves out. He tells billu that the music was not good. and billu says 'Naach na jaane music teda!!'
Bebe is complaining that there are no seats to sit, amrit says that big parties are like this only and there are not seats. the gang calls them to dance to which bebe says that she is not feeling like and that her feets are already paining. The gang says that its good but its not like thier home party where they could let thier hair down. They then go to have some food, Purab tells jassi to come with him, he confesses to her that this was not his idea of party and he had wished that the family could have enjoyed the party and all, he tells her that he knows that she and family are not enjoying the party, Jassi tells him that it is not so and that she is enjoying, purab tells her (while doing so he rubs his forehead by mistake). ' I dont know when ever I try to do something for you, some or the other thing falls out of place. Jassi then relaise that the tika is faded she informs purab and then he realises his mistake, he says see, she tells him not to worry and that the party is good.
The gang wants to taste blood (drinks 😉) but billu is still near the bar although not drinking. Veeru promises to distracts billu and the gang try to get thier hands on some drinks, he tells billu that some 6 ft tall guy is trying to impress amrit, billu goes towards amrit and the gang enjoy drinks!!
Jassi is standing near a balcony with her back to the party when purab comes and places both the hands on her shoulder and turns her around. Jassi tells purab that he is looking good in that suit and he tells her that he should have said this to her as she is looking good in that salwar khameez. He then touches her neck and says that something is missing here, and asks her as to why did she not wear the necklace he sent she says that it was too costly and I would have looked bad on her and embarrising and she didnt wanted to spoil the fun of party, she goes on to say that Beautiful things dont suit her, purab says that why are you saying that, he tells her that you dont understand that how beautiful you look and that he wanted to see her wearing the necklace, she says to him that she will wear it the next time. he confirms her next time, she just smiles.
Just then we are taken to meenakshi's place where she is getting ready for the party in a sari, she looks stunning, she says to mirror that today she will meet purabs mystery women, and that she knew what is purabs choice. We are brought back to party, where purab wants to introduce jassi to the guests, some mehta's saying that they are new couple. He takes her with him, half the way jassi is very nervous, purab asks her as to what happen, she says that it is the first time she is officially going to step into HIS world and that she is a bit nervous, purab assures her that she will step and will walk comfortably in his world and he knows it. So they move forward. The mehta's are young buisness, man, purab keeps jassi by his side and they are talking , purab intro's jassi as the 'Jasmeet Walia' CEO of Gulmohar, and as he is about to say any further , the mehta's cut him, and tell them that ohh so you are jasmeet walia, (they are visually not pleased by the looks of jassi). The lady mehta tries to cover her shock by saying, that she thought how could be someone so young be a CEO, Purab defends jassi and tells them not to underestimate jassi and that you guys dont know how good she is at work and how efficient. The mehta's are pleased to hear, this, just then the guy changes the topic (in background meena is shown entering the party , her eyes searching for purab). The guy mehta asks him as to who is this woman whom the most eligible bachelor is getting married to, 'Zarra hame bhi to bataiye' Just as purab is about to point towards jassi, with a smiling face. meena grabs his hands from behind and puts her arm in his. Purab is shocked , jassi is shocked, and the mehta's conclude, 'Ohh batane ki koi zarrorat nahi yeh to deekh hi raha hain ke kaun hain woh ladki'. Purab is shocked and he is shown as to trying to say (next week, I am sure), and the camera pans on jassi who is shocked and sad.
