😉😆 I have always wondered why BEBO is full of it. She worked with her sister's best directors, Dharmesh Darshan and Sooraj R. Barjatya. Lolo did well in HSSH and Raja Hindustani. What did Bebo get? A lame Bewafa and MPKDH. 😲 Did LOLO just have better luck and costars? Please share your thoughts. ⭐️

Why don't you blame the director as well?
SB directed that film, why did he let HR and Bebo deliver such crap performances? They were so OTT and terrible. HSSH had a great cast and the story was so refreshing and relatable plus what's new about love triangles portrayed in MPKDH?? We see them literally every 2 days, just new faces.

Bewafaa was a daring film and it probably wasn't the right time to release the movie at that point. No one wanted to see such a bold and dramatic film that involves crossing boundaries. Unless of course its a KJO movie that shows cheaters ending up happily ever after.😆 Anyways that was back then and times are different, cinema is only starting to open up and be more accepting of new stories now 😆

I love Karisma and Kareena both, but they are way too different and unique to be compared.

Because both of those movies were bad. Bewafa had a decent cliched story but there were so many things wrong with it. It was just not well made.
As for Main Prem ki Deewani Hoon where do I even start? Everything was over the top obnoxious. It was as if Sooraj R. Barjatya was trying to make a movie that is suited for modern times because people no longer believe in the joint family fairytale. The script, the dialogue were bad, really bad!! There were so many stupid annoying elements to the movie. Starting from the parrot to Hrithik talking about India, or screaming SANJANAAA MUJHE BHI YAAD KARNA SANJANA MUJHE BHI YAAD KARNAAA as the he went on the train. Everything seemed so forced and over the top. I love the scene where Hrithik is on the train during Kareena's engagement. He misses her terribly so as he is crying and searching for her picture which he put at the bottom of the bag he basically throws all his clothes away. These over the top scenes were so unnecessary! The supporting characters were also bad. The friends were all annoying, as were the other comic characters in the film. Hrithik and Kareena also bring out the worst in each other. I think they play off each other's energy and whenever you put them together they will overact.

So it's not that Kareena was flawless in those movies but those movies sucked. Besides time has changed. Audience has changed, expectations are different. Movies like Raja hindustani or HSSH would probably not do well today.

Because what Bebo got with those directors were not great movies compared to Lola's films.
