i am agree wid u

in islam all these thing are not allow

there are only two main function

1 nikah

2 waleema

bus

now a days all muslim are adopted hindu rasam which is not good

i am from Pakistan i am still not attend wedding in Pakistan

i am in KSA here only two function are done its superb duperb

and this is best way for wedding

We don't have haldi ceremony but I have seen this ceremony taking place at many Muslim houses :)

in my country i havent heard anyone having such a ceremonyy...
but look before independence all of us were together n we had almost the same culture... stillbwe have almost the same culture soo many muslims r still following that culture that their ancestors were... i dont think there is any harm in doing such rasams.. but according to the islamic point of view the wedding should be celebrated simply.. only 2 small functions r done:
1) nikah in masjid
2) walima
noo mehindi sangeet etc r done but as we have adapted the indian culture in pakistan also we do it...!!
(no offence to indians or hindus)
soo dont get confused...
its just our culture but according to islam we r not supposed to do it!!
