Azmi is directing and producing the show under 'Azmi Productions' banner and has been in Indore for almost a month now. "The serial is based on one of the novels of Ravindranath Tagore

Many actors working in the serial hail from Indore itself such as Sudipta Singh, one of the leading ladies, Tapan Bhattacharya and Kamna Pathak are playing major roles. The other actors include Ankur Panchal, Suneet Surana and Akshay Mourya Actress Tanvi Azmi, wife of Baba Azmi, is playing a key role in the serial. Songs for the serial have been written by famous lyricist, Javed Akhtar.
