Very aptly said and completely agree with you. I don't get why channels r obsessed with TRP's.

But to them and awards they think TRP is the true measure of how popular a show really is!! Or their actors and characters!! Sadly!! 🤔

what is the ultimate parameter for a show's popularity?

TRP/ commercial success

Online popularity/fan following

Critically acclaimed

it is a known fact that Rangrasiya already got the last two points just after 1 month of airing.trp is really unpredictable for a show like RR.it is a love story but actually it doesnt have any saas-bahu/ family drama/ comedy angle. its a dark love story with a background of cross border/BSD.

honestly the tejawat track should come to an end by next week.after that the show will have a completely new track to unfold the love story of PaRud

Even I feel the tejawat track should come to an end... MU from Paros side gets over...
The mom angle should start... That is better story..

The show apparently has 200 episodes ordered, so if they decide to end it after 200, then at least we can say (or hope) that there will be high quality content given. There are so many shows that have been on air for years, yet their plots and characters have become lost or monotonous. As long as the CVs give us an exciting story to tell until the end, the ratings don't matter. Besides, the TVT/TRP/whatever ratings system it is is highly problematic. Statistically it makes zero sense, so I don't put any faith in them. I wish the channels/PH wouldn't either, but oh well. Personally I'm enjoying the show greatly and I'm more engaged by this low rated show than all the other high rated shows.

RR has a set audience base that is sticking with the show. The challenge is to expand this audience base so that the ratings can rise. So, maybe what was done to SSK and MB will be done to RR. The saas-bahu-saazish angle.
