Rashmi Desai -is an Indian Television actress. She is best known for playing the role of Tapasya Thakur (Tappu) in the popular television soap opera, Uttaran on Colors. She has also acted in Bhojpuri cinema. She has also acted in Hindi, Bengali, Manipuri and Assamese movies. A trained classical dancer, she took a break from acting and dancing after her marriage to her co-star Nandish Sandhu. But, she is back with a bang!

Born on 13 th February 1987 , At Nagoan Assam

Rashami Started her Carrier in Small Screen At 2006 ,At Raavan Zee Tv then Followed by many movies, comedy series , Dance Shows , Special appearances And Next in 2008 she bagged the Role of Nikki/pari in Star one's Pari Hoon Main ..Followed by Meet Mila de Rabba as Meher, Shhh..Phir koi Hai 2008-2009

Then the most Turning Point in her Life ..comes by joining UTTARAN AT 2009 playing role .. Tapasya Jogi Thakur Started by playing the Negative Role as 1 of the lead and after leap she turned positive.. which she gained many fans and popularity in Show .. While doing this She appeared in Small roles as Haunted Nights as Shivani - 2012

Rashami Appeared in few Comedy Shows like Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala (2011) Kahani Comedy Circus ki , Comdey Circus 3 And Nautanki - The Comdey Theatre (2013)

As A Dancer , She performed in many occasions .. In shows , As guest in Dancing Shows , In golden Petal Awards And Nach Baliye She Appeared in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 5 By winning Second Place 👏

Rashami Married Nandish Sandhu on 12 th February 2011 , Just 1 day before her 25 th Birthday ..Followed by her Birthday .. 2 days 2 Celebrations 🥳
