Welcome to all the Chanchal and Random fans out there! Here's hoping that this thread finds you in the Gulabi of health and happiness!😉😆
Today's a special day for all of us and most importantly for the person we adore- a Shubharambh for new plans, a galore of wishes along with a trip down memory lane, the Manjha of old pleasant times! Now before you get confused and ask me ki Tere Mere Beach Mein Kya (secret) hai, let me just say our Pavitra Rishta with this highly talented young man, (who made us fall in Shuddh Desi Romance with him, but loves disappearing and making us think Jhalak Dikhla Jaa😭) continues today with this celebration of the day when our star was born! No points for being a Detective Byomkesh Bakshi to solve this- today is the birthday of Sushant Singh Rajput, the guy with the looks and the brains, twinkling eyes and naughty smile, Meethi Boliyan and oodles of charm- the go-getter who has proved his talent holds water (Paani?😛) to emerge winner everytime! Today is the day to pop the bubbly and Peekay celebrate (above 18 please!😳) rejoice in his achievements in the past year, cherish memories, and wish him the very best for the coming year, even as we yearn for him, miss him and say, 'Hayyye! Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil!❤️'

Sushant Singh Rajput- naam toh suna hi hoga? 'Gulshan', as he was lovingly nicknamed, was born on January 21, 1986 to a middle-class family then based in Bihar's Patna. The youngest of five siblings, Sushant was much pampered by his parents and four sisters. With an engineer dad, the goal for him was set. Books and studies were all that he cared for during his childhood.
Having ranked 7^th in All India Engineering Entrance Examination, Sushant joined the premier Delhi College of Engineering to pursue the path that would have taken him towards the goal that his family had dreamt for him. But Sushant's journey was destined to be a different one. A chance to watch Shaimak Davar and his troupe's performance ignited a spark in him to try his hand at performing arts. He joined Shaimak's group and went on to perform as a background dancer in the 2006 Commonwealth Games and the 51st Filmfare Awards. Even as he explored his potential as a dancer, Shaimak saw spark of an actor in him. Words of encouragement from his teacher were enough for Sushant to enroll in Barry John's theatre classes. The 'painfully' shy young man thus found his calling. Acting not only gave him a sense of liberation but also made him feel powerful playing different characters. And that was it! Against his father's wishes, Sushant dropped out of college promising him that he would get back to studies if he failed to make it as an actor in a year. Well, the engineering world lost a talent to the arts! During one of Sushant's performances with theatre veteran Nadira Babbar's 'Ekjute' in Mumbai, a production member of Balaji Telefilms noticed Sushant and asked him to audition for the lead role in Star Plus' Kis Desh Hain Mera Dil'. He bagged the role of the lead's brother Preet instead, but the role earned him tremendous love and appreciation never the less. So impressed was Ekta Kapoor that she remained adamant about casting him as Manav in Zee Tv's Pavitra Rishta even though everyone else dissuaded her saying he did not suit the part. Thus, Sushant became the shy, hardworking mechanic who loved his Archana. The show touched the emotional chords of the audience and went on to become one of the leading TV serials. In October 2011, Sushant decided to quit Pavitra Rishta.

Sushant takes birth in Bollywood.

Sushant debuted with Kai Po Che as the volatile yet vulnerable Ishaan Bhatt. 'A star is born'- was how critics described him after witnessing his performance in the film. The movie gained both commercial and critical success; ensuring Sushant's first steps in 'Big, Bad Bollywood' were well noticed. He went on to play marriage-phobic Raghu in Shuddh Desi Romance, which earned him praise for following up his debut performance with a radically different one and charmed the audience into making the film a hit. 2014 would also see him in a cameo in PK filmed by Rajkumar Hirani- one of Sushant's dream directors. The association with Yash Raj Films has meant that he is well under their wings with his next two films under the banner - Dibakar Banerjee's Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! and Shekhar Kapur's Paani. Backed by the best in the business and guided by the most reputed and experienced names in the world of directors, Sushant's professional life at the moment is as promising as is his personal life blissful- the man fully intends to say 'I do' to sweetheart Ankita Lokhande this year.

Indeed, Sushant has come a long way from lanky Gulshan to moustached Byomkesh. Our wish for him- grow as an actor; you will rise as a star.

6 years since kdmhmd, 5 years since pr started,4 years since jhalak and dance reality shows and finally last 1 year has been eventful with grand and a very promising Bollywood career already with awards, big banners and all praises in your kitty
