Varun did try to cross the border with her which meant he did want that dream and he did seem to possess some feelings and if allowed would have gone on to live that Ore Piya Life we all fantasized but at the last moment though he decided to use her as a pawn but am puzzled over that action of his

What made him think Rudra who was shooting anything that moved would care to protect her life for him to get free passage?Edited by FairyLiquidSoap - 10 years ago

we will never know as he is dead.and since you said devil,I can safely say that he must have been a good man, just thought of the idea of using her as a pawn as he knows he will not get out of there alive if he didn't have something to hold on to.hence using Paro as the pawn.but that didn't work for him either.sowe will nevern know.in a good way,it is better he dies.Becoz if he went back ,he will become the terrorist,i am hoping he is not at this point...Edited by DN2012 - 10 years ago

What would a good man have done in his place? Asked Rudra for help? Instead he wanted to go across the border... that's why the action seems suspect...

Havent you seen in movies that in most cases bad guys take woman hostage to save them self from Police
So may be Varunsa thought that if he uses Paro as a pawn , Rudro will leave him

And the tables turned...on us...kaha hum soch rahe the that Varun banna sa is the Prince Charming of Paro's fairytale future...and here he turned out to be the Black King of the chess board in the guise of white, and Rudra, the so-called destroyer, turned out to be the White King...but thanks to Paro becoming sleeping beauty...the places got exchanged...
What a cruel twist...now seems Rudra will be termed culprit, for doing the right thing...and maybe suspended,i am getting that feeling...and all he is left with...Paro
Here two people who do not want to be with each other...and they are pushed towards each other...
How will Rudra realize that Paro is not a traitor? How will Paro realize that Rudra is the knight and not the devil?is what we have to watch out for...

He wanted to save himself?
From what?

Death?
Getting thrown into enemy jail.
A miserable life.

And he chose the worst option he had at that point. It was so contradictory to everything he had done before that point.

May be he panicked.

Or he really was one of them. Doesn't necessarily mean, he wasn't planning on a life with her.

He knows he would get shot anyway so why use her as a pawn For if you take away our perception into their lives Rudra doesn't care for anyone and is hell bent on killing all so what made Varun think Rudra will spare his life Am still confused on that scene Ash

Maybe he saw the 3 min long nain-matakka yesterday. 😛
On a serious note, he probably thought Rudra wouldn't shoot a woman. For all you know, he might have had feelings for Paro. There's nothing to prove or disprove that at this point. But he is just your regular guy. So he chose his life over hers.

Maybe because Paro was the only person from India ... all the others were from sarhad paar ... so they were enemies ... but an army officer is sworn to protect his own countrymen at the cost of his own life. Or at least, try to ...

By holding Paro hostage, all Varun was doing was trying to get across the border into his own country.
