not to forget it has priyanka chopra an a-list heroine. arjun kapoor ishaqzaade was successful movie. gunday is a yrf film its not a solo hero masala like a besharam with a newcomer heroine. ranbir had the guts to carry on his shoulder a masala movie without big production backing with no known heroine. ranveer couldn't give a hit with sonakshi. 😆 if gunday works the credit equally go to arjun kapoor, priyanka and yrf banner.

from all his interviews I know he's actually smart, when he's in his serious mode he's like a totally different person (still himself but more MATURE), then he made jokes, sometimes funny and sweet but sometimes "W*F"!!! and the W*F moment seems more often than the sweet funny one 😆

and TRUE bout how he promoting "Bromance" more than the film itself, i mean it's ok since the story is bout their friendship, but is this movie just bout ranveer-arjun being lovey dovey or what? 😕 the only time i saw him not that OTT was during Ram Leela promotion, I guess he couldnt with Deepika LOLOL seems like she took the wheel 😆

He still need to learn more and cut all the crap, being funny hyper is fine but being way too hyper and OTT just not necessary, it wont get him any good esp he's a public figure, toned it down a bit I guess. some Media definitely dislike his OTT personality, that's why they keep reporting negative things bout him, like it or not they still hold a big influence over a star's image.

ranbir kapoor is the youngest superstar who is compared to his seniors. in the future arjun kapoor, sushant and aditya roy kapoor can challenge him but they need to be much more versatile to compete.

I think Ranbir himself already feels threatened by Ranveer. lol I do think Ranbir has a lot to worry about because Ranveeer is really talented. The only think Ranveer doesn't have is the hype and the number of fans that Ranbir has. Ranbir has proved himself time and time again that he's a good actor and can make a film a hit. Ranveer still needs time to prove his worth. It's only fair because Ranveer debuted after Ranbir.

If Ranveer bag the right opportunities and brand deals he can become a bigger name in the industry than Ranbir. Ranveer is more versatile in acting and in looks than Ranbir Kapoor.

Ranveer needs more time because Ranbir is already in the superstar league. Like Lensa said, he lacks the fan base and needs to prove himself where Ranbir is ahead of him in both those departments. I must say both are good actors

I don't think Ranbir should be threatened of any other young actor for about five years now. He is way beyond the crop of young actors. He has a huge fanbase, he is a darling of the critics and generally well-loved.

However, Ranveer is a fine actor, and well-rounded, he just needs more time and a bigger fan base, and he will be on his way.

I personally feel Ranbir is a much better actor than Ranveer. He brings a sheer effortless and natural charm in all his roles. Finest actor of this generation in my opinion. But that's just me. However, I absolutely adore Ranveer off-screen, so that balances out. And Ranveer has a well-developed versatility and intensity about him which is rare. So, both of them are good. And I hope they continue outdoing each other, so we can finally get some good films.
