Luv ka the end: It was on TV and I was bored.. surprisingly it wasn't a bad movie.. it's a chick flick and I definitely don't mind them.. It was pretty entertaining.. Shradha sure couldn't act but she pulled off the innocent yet revengeful 18 year old pretty good.. Pushtiee is just amazing.. she should do more movies for sure.. Sreejita was fine.. Taha Shah is cute.. I just noticed.. 😳 he should do more movies too.. enjoyable movie..

I, Me Aur Main

A decent movie. Entertaining and well done. John Abraham's character was annoying, but he did well. Mini Mathur and Prachi Desai portrayed their roles well. It isn't a spectacular film, but does touch an important issue. I've noticed many Indian boys are indeed overprotected, pampered and coddled by their moms that they turn into selfish, egotistic men who don't want to take responsibility.

Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye

The fun filled adventures of a super chor. Abhay Deol delivers a fantastic performance. Paresh Rawal is a riot in his many avatars. The narrative gets sluggish frequently though. Also the cutting between past and present was not as smooth. It gave the movie a choppy flow. Would have been a better movie if it was edited to be crisper.

Valkyrie

This is a gripping war thriller. Valkyrie is not just about a tense military assassination plot, but also a philosophical exploration into ethics and morality. The movie is based on one of the many plots to assassinate Hitler. This one is especially famous because of the involvement of Claus Von Stauffenberg, a really estemeed and decorated German Colonel. The main plot of the movie deals with the inception, planning and execution of the conspiracy. Tension mounts and dissipates as the plotters go through their plans. Complementing the plot is an undercurrent discussion on what is patriotism and treason and whether unquestionable service to leaders actually amounts to service to one's country. Claus Von Stauffenberg was executed by a firing squad for treason against Germany, but his last words were "Long Live Sacred Germany".

Tom Cruise again is miscast as Claus Von Stauffenberg. He has his thick American accent without the slightest hint of German. Despite that he still plays the part very well. He delivers some of the best thought provoking dialogues as well. Bill Nighy was beyond perfect as usual. The surprising revelation was Eddie Izzard as a signals officer. This is a must see historical movie.

Race Gurram

So I saw the latest Telugu release of South Indian star Allu Arjun. Oh man if people thought Dabangg is bad, I don't know what they would think of this. This movie takes masala, over the top theatrics, mind bending logic and all that jazz to a whole new level. Check your brains out at the door. But all in all, despite everything, it is still a super entertaining and fun flick. I didn't find Allu Arjun all that great. However, I thoroughly enjoyed Ravi Kisen as the villain Siva Reddy and whoever plays Kill Bill Pandey.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Significantly better than the previous Captain America movie. I found the previous Captain America to be the weakest movie in the Marvel series. Character development was almost nonexistent and minimal, that it left me wondering if they made the movie just so they could make Avengers Later. This movie was much better plot wise and has good development of all characters. You see more of Steve Rogers' struggle to come to terms with the modern world he finds himself in. You see the layers to Nick Fury and why he is the way he is. You see how and why Sam Wilson becomes the Falcon and get a glimpse of Natasha Romanoff's darker past.

I'm still not a big fan of Chris Evans, I don't know if its him or Captain America is just not as cool as Iron Man or Thor. I liked him just slightly better in this movie. I really loved the movie for Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury and Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff. The Winter Soldier is the highlight of the movie. A dark and mysterious ghost like legend amidst S.H.I.E.L.D officers he is a great villain. I just wish there was more of him in the movie. However, they developed his character well and the post credits scene just gives you something to chew on in anticipation for his next.

Along with the main plot, I do love watching movies for underlying issues or philosophies. I think Captain America does a great job into asking deeper questions on the choice between freedom and security. S.H.I.E.L.D's latest technology is nothing but a way to spy on the world and control them. Steve Rogers conflicts with Nick Fury saying such preemptive strikes and security measures are not freedom and the world ceases being free when such measures exist. The question is really relevant in USA with the recent exposes on spying and discontent with homeland security.

Sorry but this was the first dialogue of Seenu's that made me crack up...that is apart from his intro scene in the school.

The first action scene was absolutely cool and then the way he gets all shy when the girls hug him. Aww cho chweet. 😳

Every dialogue of Seenu's was cho chweet, funny, hilarious, important, and cool!

And Krushna's voice for God was a nice touch. Oh and a small point...I think it was Salman Khan as the voice of Jesus right after the intermission, but not sure. 😉

Illeana and Nargis were nice touches, but for some reason I don't really like the 2. That was the only downside in the movie for me. Arunoday Singh was okay. He matched the role of the angry, over-possessive fiance really well, but he wasn't given much room in the movie to show anything else. Rajpal Yadav was awesome! It was so good to see him after so long. Anupam Kher had a nice role though he was seen less.

I won't give the movie away, but the first half was a lot of romance and comedy. The second half was quite a lot of comedy as well, but more action. Now mind you when I say second half I mean more like an hour into the movie.

The songs were too cool. Varun the rockstar!

And of course this brings us to the main part of the movie. Varun. My darling, my love, my handsome...😉 Need I say anything anymore! HE WAS TOO COOL!!!! COMIC, LOVING, ROMANTIC, FULL OF ENERGY, and THIS MOVIE TOTALLY RESTS ON HIS SHOULDERS and HE CARRIES IT OFF WELL!

Rating: 4/5 (just because of Illeana and Nargis)

Ram Lakhan. 5/5. No matter how many times you watch, these classics never get old. 👏

RL- it wasn't as bad as some members made it out to be on here and it's not as good as most critics made it out to be..if you have nothing to watch..it's def a good/okay one time watch. The first half is boring, the film gets interesting after the interval. But I have to say that some of the parts in this movie are so stupid. A lot of similarities with Ishaaqzaade..makes me wonder if SLB is inspired by that film..but I liked RL better. The songs are so randomly placed in the movie..😳

Pata nahi kis kis ko kahan kahan se utha ke le aaye hain. 😆
There was rarely anybody un recognizable.
But the film of full on entertaining.👍🏼 A completely unintentional comedy and a stressbuster.🤣
Once again Bhai was the ⭐️ of the movie.
My rating: 3/5.
P.S. : Suniel Shetty with the Tank was the biggest W*F moment in all the Bollywood movies i have watched till now. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
