Not liking the sound of this line but I hope they are intelligent enough to write it properly without falling into the trap of the TRPs. Every show experiments but very few are successful at it. They have a very good team, from the writers, director, producer to the leads and supporting cast. Use the talent wisely.

Well, they have scaled down the violence bit, and storywise too they don't have to show much of that, it has to be more of Rudra and Paro's changing equations. Whichever way they go, I hope there is a flow to the story and continuation rather than an abrupt shift. They know the story and can tweak it to audience taste but without killing the essence of the show or characters.

As you said they have a talented team and they have been in the business for long, hope they use their experience well.

I totally agree with you about BeIntehaa ... a modern saas bahu saga with educated English speaking MIL and DIL, clad in gorgeous clothes and jewelry and plotting against each other 24*/7 ... this is the modern take on saas bahu shows, where the DIL fights back against the MIL to save a marriage neither she nor her husband wanted in the first place. 😆

But saas bahu shows rule the roost, this is another one, so it will probably do well ... Colors needs a new fiction show to do well ... good for it, I hope the success of BI means that they can keep RR on track with the show they intended to make. If both had been very slow, then they would have been wary with RR as its the more expensive show ... now if BI is doing well with the TRP aunties, then they can relax. I don't want RR to degenerate into TRP auntie show ... I don't like watching those!

Agree with showviewer, they will tweak tracks depending on feedback, that is always done ... I have a feeling that the Laila track has been cut back because it was a bit too bold ... but the basic story will remain as it is. In Veera, the kids' track was supposed to be for a few months, because the kids were so brilliant and became so popular, it was extended for over a year, but the basic theme remained intact. So the same will happen here.

RR has a very experienced and very talented team at work ... they are responsible for some of the longest running shows on TV (I won't say the best, as I cannot include DABH in the list ... 😉 ) ... and they know what they're doing.

Well said Diya, and I think all daily show makers have contingency plans about tracks, because they cannot be sure what will work and what will not ahead of time. I always felt that most daily shows have a broad story in place, they just keep tweaking what they show in each episode. Last week Paro's defiance and answering back fetched them highest TRP, so I hope the creatives got that message. ST and Prashant have often mentioned the care and attention they have given to RR's writing and script, and I hope the focus remains there with some changes along the way which are inevitable.

Ashish did not say anything different from what we discussed in the RR thread before the show started. The names Rudra and Parvati suggest fire and ice. Their coming together forms the whole and cosmic balance.

You have to hear this priceless gem on RR. The only two smart ppl who have signed up for the show are...

Ankita : as she stays on tv as well as does whatever she is doing in the southern tv industry 😆

For god sake , ankita is a glorified extra in this show ...even maithali and samraat have more lines and scenes than her. After ashish - sanaya , it is tarun, sadia , ananya and kaliji who leave an impact ...

Ashish : as he is doing this show and already having his PH to produce rajasthani shows etc. also is the ML in a movie by nautanki 😆

Ashish is NOT the ml of nautanki's movie. It is diveyundu sharma with neha dhupia ( diveyundu is the chasme badoor guy) . Ashish is a committed actor who is the ML of this show and seems quiet happy abt it 😆

Anything to put sanaya down and make rangrasiya sound like channchann ...well it ain't happening 😆 You want to see failure and crap projects signed ...look closer 😉

Someone who has work and gets offers continuously and has established herself as the one of the top stars in a industry she wants to be part of does not need career advice from people whose hobby is to take advantage of internet anonymity to bash actors.

Sanaya was doing well before these people knew about her and will continue being happy long after these people stop caring about her life.

RR is such a mediocre show, its got Sanaya Irani as the lead, she can't act, she's overhyped..ST boasted so much about RR, it will be this and it will be that! Who will watch this show except her so called loyal pankhies

This is so amusing guys! I have been reading this sort of stuff.. what amazes me is how one actress's popularity and fandom pokes everyone else right? So what if RR is a different show, seriously our viewers only like rubbish on tv right? Different shows like RR that are so unique are crap right? Well TRP's are not everything, even the popularity of the actors counts!!!! Other shows have no content, they don't have a soul, they are only made for getting the so called TRP's whether the actors can act or not.

Now what makes RR different and not cliched? It is the ACTORS who are actors of substance, each one of them, be it even side characters. the show's screenplay, writers, direction, costumes, dialogues, cinematography are TOPNOTCH! which by far no show on tv is even close to 😉

TRPs will lead to some tweaking of tracks, it's a given in all daily soaps, nothing specific to RR. I don't think they are changing the story or characters, but some change in episodes will happen as per feedback. The TRPs are slowly rising so hoping the creatives can continue with what they set out to do.

Can someone tell me where it was written that RR is a love-hate story. I never saw the word hate in any articles related to the show. It was always intense, passionate love story or what happens when the path of a girl who believes in love crosses with a man who doesn't or how Paro will fall in love with the man who killed her husband. So where does the assumption that the leads will hate each other for n no of episodes come from ?

To me the only thing jarring in Friday's episode was the use of that poetry and song..that i agree was a little too early and didn't make sense. Even otherwise they need to either get different lyrics for the background song or use just the music or use it sparingly as of now. Please try to see the episode with the song and poetry muted...Ashish's expressions will clearly tell you what Rudra feels at this time and they were totally apt for the situation and its not what the song or poetry indicated. Some people desperately need to get over the IPK hangover and treat RR as a new show.

And yes some introspection and monologues of the leads will certainly help to show how they look at the current situation.
