Dhanush drops Kaviya's father home. Dhanush comes inside and sees a framed picture of Kaviya. (Jatthai aattai song in the background). Patti is skeptical about Dhanush, as she feels something is fishy about him. Dhanush gets to know about Kaviya giving annaithaanam today and leaves the home.

Kaviya and her sister are driving and on the way they get stopped by the rowdies. Kaviya her sister run and they rowdies run behind them. Dhanush sees this and stops the rowdies. Dhanush hits the outsite guy and the other guy asks Dhanush to stop. Dhanush warns them both and leaves.
Dhanush drives behind the girls and overtakes them and throws her dupatta on her face and drives faster. Kaviya stops her scooter and wonders who it was as she couldn't see the face behind his helmet.

The rowdy re-thinks about Dhanush's warning, and his friends say to the rowdy that they have to leave now. The rowdy denies to apologies to Dhanush.

Dhanush thinks about the recent dupatta episode, and he is happy that Kaviya will be wondering who he is and this will be the beginning of their lovestory.
One of the his men, comes and says that the rowdies are back. The main rowdy comes and apologies. Dhanush tells him that he has to apologies to anni (Kaviya). Dhanush tells him that he has to come back with a letter where Kaviya has signed that she has accepted his apology. The rowdy seems not to like this, but nods. Dhanush says that if Kaviya accepted his apologies then he can stay in this city or else he is not allowed to stay here.

Kaviya is worried and Kaviya's sister suggests to tell Kalpana's father, who knows a police officer. Kaviya does not want to create issues. Kaviya says that we have to tell their father about this, as he might have a sollution to this. Someone knocks on the door again. It the same rowdies. They comes to apologies and asks for Anni. Everyone gets shocked to hear them calling Kaviya as Anni. Kaviya is confused and irritated with the rowdy. Kaviya's father asks them to leave, but they refuse to leave until she has signed the paper. Kaviya takes the paper from him and signes it. Patti asks them who their anna is. The rowdy says ask your girl. They leaves.
Patti yells at Kaviya and asks her, who this anna is. Kaviya cries and says she does not know Dhanush. She tells them that she has only sees this rowdy. Patti says that Kaviya has to get married now. Kaviya tells them that she does not want to get married but she wants to continues her studies. Kaviya's father agress with Patti. Kaviya is devastated.

Dhanush looks at the paper where Kaviya has signed on, and admires it. Dhanush tells his men, then if everyone troubles Kaviya then he won't spare them.
The rowdy is drunk at the beach with his friends, and says that he won't spare Kaviya and Dhanush.

Kaviya re-thinks what Patti said about getting married and Kaviya cries.

Kaviya lays on the bed and tells her sister, how she is going to face Patti, appa and her brother. Her sister tells her not to blame herself. Kaviya's brother comes and yells at Kaviya and asks her who Dhanush is. Kaviya asks them what they want from her. She says she will stop her studies and get ready for marriage. Patti becomes happy.
