Hi guys,
Just watched today's episode...and if hadnt known what was coming already my jaw would have certainly dropped!!!!

What a come back!!! Go PAAKHI!!!! ☢️
It takes tremendous confidence to do what she did...and it had the effect it intended to have...,🥳
Girish was definitely helping them...so kudos to him!!,👏

Anshuman looked CLUELESS!!!...HAd no idea what just happened!!!😆

Going back to the first part of the episode...to my surprise...Anshuman continues his JAAP of go back Pakhi even when she asked him directly...although never saying that it was what HE wanted...

Well you can only go so far with crooked talks...and manipulations...people who get manipulated are the ones...who don't know any better or don't have much confidence in their own judgement...

That's not what PAAKHI is...so get used to it...and give it up already Anshuman...if she tried her hand at business she will probably beat you at that too...😆

Please share your comments guys...

Sush, I was completely bowled over by yesterday's episode as can be seen from my post immediately after I watched the episode. I loved the fact that Pakhi gives it back to Anshuman and Lavanya in the same coin - namely where they kept on saying that she doesn't fit in their society. I loved the way she confidently walked on the stage and did the dance to prove that if she wants she can be like the high society girls and be a class in western attire.

I loved the way Anshuman even though was playing a double game was very nice with Pakhi when he told her to go away to Chittorgarh. And for the first time, I have seen the female lead asking openly what the guy wants instead of assuming and acting on assumptions. Thank god for showing that you need to communicate first before drawing assumptions. Loved the way Pakhi openly questioned Anshuman as to what he wants from her. And then when she walks out, she is not melodramatic but a lady with dignity who walks away.

And the dance ka toh, Anshuman was clean bowled over. Loved the way Pakhi was confidence personified and danced to the dance with Anshuman and even her brother and bhabhi were there enjoying her performance. It was like - our Paakhi kissi se kam nahin. Loved the small one sec scene of bhaisa feeling proud at the end of the dance and the bhabhi cracking her knuckles to ward off evil from Paakhi. Absolute beautiful portrayal of a girl child and the love she was showered with by her brother and bhabhi. Shall I say much better than our last show outing where a modern mumbai girl did nothing but stood there and listened to stupid rasams which her prospective MIL used for taunting and degrading her family.

And the one scene I really adored for bringing out the human nature in lavanya was when she played with Naina. She is not black but a grey person. She can't conceive which made her bitter but when she knows that Naina is alone, she can't stay back and even when she debates with herself, she ends up going to the kid and playing with her. She is so happy when she is with the kid and loved the way she was so gentle with the baby. Completely cute and sweet scene. I don't like all white characters as that makes the show very boring. That is one thing I adore in this show is that everyone is showed with respect to their view points and none of them are completely black.

Apt Title Sush. Clueless Anshuman.

I knew what was coming today and it still pleasantly surprised me and as I was expecting Lavania's jaw did hit the floor.

Well done Paakhi 👏

Anshuman looked so happy thinking "I am Free " going around in the party shaking hands and kissing girls.

Then when he was asked to come to the stage the slight hesitation and then turning around to see Paakhi walking towards him with confidence and then the dance.

Truly enjoyed Anshuman's flustered and bewildered to see Paakhi doing something that I do not think he ever imagined in his wildest dream her capable of.

Girish no doubt helped her and I truly admire a man who helps people when they need it most. And Girish knowing that by doing what he did his wife will give him hell and a good tongue lashing later.

Going back to the beginning of the show Anshuman did not disappoint me as he did exactly what I had thought he would do, that is let Paakhi take the decision on her own.

Paakhi saying bye to all the servants and that smile on Mahaji's face thinking "Mission Accomplished" and the dignified way she walked out without looking back was truly icing on the cake.

My pleasant surprise was that Paakhi's brother and and Bhabi were there with her to see and actually cheer her on. Their thinking is definitely not small town.

And your saying that Paakhi would be better at business than Anshuman, I think in her own small way she has already proved it by running the household and saving money !!

And to rub salt in poor deflated Anshuman there was Mr.Rana taunting him that he was an idiot who cannot do anything right !!

Hi guys...I was surprised that her Bhai and bhabhi went to the party...I took as an affirmation on Paakhis side...that even though she was willing to put on the dress that her husband likes...she was not ashamed of he roots and walked there with her head held high with THEM!!!

I too loved Paakhi coming to the key point and asking Anshuman directly instead of making any assumptions...

I wonder if Paakhi talked with her Brother and Bhabhi and explained to them what she had planned.

And the pride and joy they had on their faces showed them that they may come from a small town but their thinking is not small at all.

Her direct approach is what I like about her the most. And doing it while she does her little wifely duty of putting on his tie.

Just watched the episode. What fun! And great discussions too, Sush, psarada and dolly-heart!

I cheated a bit and read the forum reactions before watching the episode. I knew there was a lot of unhappiness with the fact that Pakhi changed herself for Anshuman and I get that but I realized while watching the episode that from Paakhi's perspective, it makes total sense. We audience know that Anshuman talks a lot of crap hoping to to get rid of Pakhi and come out smelling like roses, but she has no idea. To her, he comes off as someone who genuinely cares about her above anything and for whom there is nothing greater than her happiness. He made it sound like he was sacrificing his own happiness with her so that she could be happy and comfortable. Now when someone cares that much about you, is it really "demeaning" to meet them half way when it comes to your comfort zone?

Really, A is digging his own grave deeper and deeper with Pakhi because the more he plays this double game, the more she falls for him. The thing he doesn't understand about her is that she is not one to give up easily, or at all. As long as he keeps trying to their differences as the reason they should split, she will try harder to make it work. And as long as he keeps playing this "I just want you to be happy card," she is going to fall for his "honesty" more and more and try to convince him that her happiness is with him, even if she has to do things she wouldn't normally do to be with him.

Today especially, I guess out of relief that it was all over, he said such nice things to Pakhi when she was leaving. I get the feeling that A has actually started liking P as a friend out of respect for her intelligence and integrity. As soon as he thought she was no longer an obstacle, he started being so easy and fun. All that stuff about her being the best tour guide, Chittor ki shaan etc, etc.. he really gave away all the little details he has remembered about her. And to Pakhi it must have seemed like nothing short of a crime to give up so easily on a guy who takes the time to know her so well. So the dress and the dance were her trying just a little harder to make it work. And of course whatever Mrs. PR does, she does with flair! Loved Pakhi's confidence on the dance floor and the support system she has in her family. Very refreshing.

This obviously means that Rana's constant taunts are going to be a big obstacle in their love story. Even if he does like her, he will constantly be assuring himself and Rana that she is just a thorn in his side. Good drama building up for sure! 😉

I also can't wait for Ayaan's entry. I was hoping for a Sound of Music-type scenario with Pakhi as the magical Fraulein Maria and the latest article makes it sound like that is exactly what we are going to get! 😃

The break up scene (that was supposed to be a break up scene any way) was actually nice...where Anshuman amazingly maintained his sense of humor is such a tough situation and Paakhi cracked a smile too...the genuine relationship that is developing between them is good to watch...Romance is distant but...I think some appreciation for her was displayed by Anshuman which was not all fake...
I so really want Anshuman to be attracted to her...can't wait for that part...

All the other things about what is she is capable of doing is fine...but he needs to be attracted...what is the deal with Tanya woman? Is he in a relationship wit her...is that what is stopping him?

@samananalyse I have to say your analysis on Anshuman the last time, helped me view the show differently making it a more pleasurable viewing. Otherwise seeing how awesome Paakhi is we tend to forget the show is about both of them and feeling for Paakhi alone makes us hate Anshuman thus forgetting the actual essensce of the show. The core centre is that Paakhi with her optimistic n die hard spirit helps to bring about a change in the heartless and unethical Anshuman. So thanks for that. You should post your thoughts on the MF, so more people can get a different perspective on things.
As for yesterday's episode, I loved how you pointed out that when Anshuman is not regarding Paakhi as a problem to be rid off, he does appreciate her n her qualities. The fact that he remembers even the tiniest of details about her is heartening. If the situation was different and he was not such a snob and shallow, he would have really liked Paakhi very much. As for Paakhi n her makeover all in the space of a day, though it was a little superwomanish to pull off, I liked it for the entertainment value and got to say in your face Anshuman and the partying partners in crime. Here I have to point out that out perfectly smart and astute Paakhi is also seemingly blind to her husbands many failings. How come she's able to sense his mood but not that he's really closed and uptight, uncomfortable with her in an intimate way. If you observe he always does the talk, which I agree is smooth enough to bedazzle any girl out of her senses, but by his actions he seldom encourages or lives upto any of her fantasies of him being a wonderful husband. So we have to accept that our perfect Paakhi has her weakness too. So does Girish for his hellgirl of a wife La. We dont comprehend how they can but we complaint that our hero does not have that weakness for his wife. 😃

M and Sam...the problem is that
HE IS JUST NOT THAT INTO HER😆!!

Do you guys remember Shahrukh in kuch kuch Hota hei...or him in DIL to Pagal hei? He was friends with Kajol ( in the beginning) and with Karishma...but didn't feel a thing for them romantically...( ok he did for kajol much later in KKHH but after many many years) ...Here the other woman is not his previous wife...but then what is it? Is Tanya not only a business arrangement but a girl who captures his heart?

I don't think he is a person who does not feel...he have seen him feel glee, triumph, happiness, frustration and he does seem like an extrovert...then why is not feeling any attraction for Paakhi?

Sush, My opinion of Anshuman is

- the guy is closed and kind of introvert and part of it maybe because he didn't have a mother around when he was growing up. No matter what anyone says, a mom around you makes you more humane. That may be the reason for Lavanya too being so snobbish even though she was quite good and caring with Naina in yesterday's episode.

- I don't think the guy has really been shattered by his first wife's death. I just don't think they were close enough. Mostly she was also a socialite and the kid was left to be taken care by governess and other staff. He doesn't seem to recollect his wife at all.

- Tanya seems to be there only for the business merger with Rana. I doubt he is in love with Tanya. She too seems to be an socialite and he is okay with having the marriage done if it furthers his business.

I think the story is also of Anshuman growing into a warm and compassionate person during his marriage and stay with Paakhi. I am so looking forward to this part of the show.
