Okay, Now that I am returning with the reviews on the EDTs, I am glad I have lots of good things to say after many days 😃
This episode has indeed taken me back in time, when CID used to much more than just any other show. It reminded me so much of the old episodes. Singh sir behind the camera for a normal investigation case after years and he still rocks. Indeed, nobody can handle a child better than its parent 😆
To start with yesterday's episode, had Loved every bit of it. Abhi-Daya at the crime scene, recreating the scene, detailed investigations with explanations, everything was good. Surely a viewer would have found it difficult to take his eyes off. Even ACP-Salunke chemistry was portrayed nicely, mixed with a pinch of humor ! Editing was a bit different towards the beginning, which surely added to it. And I must say the VFX team did a good job, better than many other shows or from previous occasions. I wished Nik could do a better job, but nevertheless, he was used to bring the element of comedy in the show, so it was okay!
The precap had scared me, I thought it was going to be all about officers the next day, but to my surprise, this turned out to be a pretty good episode. The story was gripping, made quite of a sense(if not completely) and handled in a very satisfying way. Thats exactly how a normal investigative story is meant to be handled. Singh sir and Mishra sir have set an example for the other directors with this one. Specially for the investigation scenes, one cant beat Singh sir ! Loved how Purvi was utilized for recreating the scene, she did a good job as well.
But one thing is for sure, if behind the camera no body can beat the duo of Bp Singh and Mishra Ji, in front of the camera, there can be no alternative for the ultimate duo of CID - Abhi-Daya. Aah, couldn't take my eyes off them Throughout the 2 episodes, they were fab, with perfect chemistry between them. Indeed, they are the most versatile actors I have ever come across and no one but Singh sir himself can make their chemistry look so real on screen. Loved it to the core.
I am glad I actually got an opportunity to write a positive review for an episode in CID, after ages ! I wish i get more of such opportunities !! I want more of Bp Singh episodes like this one, and of course, the story has to make some sense, or else Bp Singh kya, Bhagwaan bhi bacha nahi paayega us episode ko 😛
