I read of an pregnancy track in jodha-akabr. I do not think this track was logical. JA is a 16th century serial not 21st. Imagine if a woman became pregnant and husband has not even touched her. It was a very big issue? And taht too a emperor. Aren't you bringing disgrace to an emperor name?
And imagine Jodha comes and accuses Jalal of using her that night he took care of her but he will refuse for sure. Jodha will not listen to him for sure as that means badnaami for her.
And jalal he is in big trouble. He knows nothing happened but whom does he tell. Even his mother shall not listen to him this time 😆
If anyone come to know emperor has not touched his wife after almost a year of marriage and still she became pregnant people will gossip and his jodha begum will become badnaam. Do you think those kazi's will leave jodha and jalal if they get to know this never?
But if jalal accepts she is pregnant because of him to save her honour in front of world and punishment of death(gauranteed in those times to women who become pregnant by another man other than husband) he has to accept someone else child and it will get his name as father(akbar may not make a big issue of that he is a good human being as he loves kids and will do anything to save this child) and next emperor of hindustan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(no one will agree for this, jalal will surely want his blood son to be emperor for sure)
Jalal will be between devil and deep sea situation. No matter what happens jalal will become badnaam not jodha begum. Hence this track is illogical and not correct
I think they copied this from Ghenghis khan-borte story. It was believed his first son jochi was not ghenghis son but another warlords who kidnapped his wife borte during war. Jochi was born exactly 9 months after getting kidnapped and that war lord sent a letter to Ghenghis saying that this new son of yours is not yours. The kingdom started gossiping wanted him to act but Ghenghis accepted him as his own son.
