What it is to be jalal?

The majority seems to be in a fix over where jalal and jodha relationship is heading? In the face of this changing relationship where jalal and ruqaiya relationship stands? Jalal again flaunts his interactions with jodha to rile up ruqaiya. If I had been jodha and had heard this discussion I would have probably felt like a fool. Jalal is testing waters with ruqaiya. In the process he is making jodha begum extremely vulnerable. The wrath of ruqaiya's well placed anger and irritation shall fall upon on jodha. But what else jalal should do? Majority say he should confide in ruqaiya because she is an old friend too. I beg to differ, this best friend is also a wife . Everything has a right time. I do agree, the wife shall know what her husband is upto? That is why we see jalal emphasising again and again on 'ruqaiya, think like a wife'. Additionally, what shall jalal tell ruqaiya? He himself doesnt know whats in store for him in his relationship with jodha? Their relationship is changing but what it will lead to jalal himself doesnt know. It seems he does realise that there is something different this time but what? He needs time to find answers to these questions. He could have confided in a best friend but a best friend who is a wife doesn't fit the bill to share these new found feelings. Jalal is not a fool and he does realise this. Then, why he keeps prodding ruqaiya? To prepare grounds for a time (if it happens) when he can tell her about jodha too being a part of that circle which he holds close to his heart. He is not abandoning any one. He is making space in his close knit circle for someone who is making her presence felt in his life. To ease her in the circle which consists of maham and Hamida (who are dearer than life), ruqaiya (lovable best friend), Salima (whom he respects and holds in high regard). If things go the way he wants then jodha (a woman he loves) will close the loop.

Coming to the precap Jodha owed it to jalal. I would have been thoroughly disappointed if she wouldn't have said these things. This will land her in hot soup but she has to do it for jalal. From day one, she has been fed things about jalal's character that are cringe worthy. Time and again she has tossed the same here say on jalal's face. The man has proved them wrong again and again. It was high time jodha dished out her new found insight about this man, he deserves it.

Note- we know what is in store for each character in the future. Alas! The characters don't have this privilege.😊

Agree with you.. he is also very well aware that no matter what Rukaiya says, she is going to be eventually affected by it.. and its not going to be good.

What will he tell her..? He himself isn't aware of his feelings yet..

But I feel Jodha shouldn't have rubbed the fact in Rukaiya's face like that.
That was harsh.. Its too early for her to say those things and she is also inviting trouble that way.

My point is in doing so, she is no different from Rukaiyya.
The scene hasn't been aired yet.. so we can't say what made Rukaiyya barge in and why did jodha gave such a reply...

Of course jodha is grey. 😊 hope the makers keep her this way and not turn her into a sacrificing woman who doesn't flinch, is always right, doesn't get hurt and doesn't react at all no matter what ever be the provocation. You are right it is better not to speculate on precap.
