Episode starts Kusum making this huge rangoli of morpankh (what's her obsession with it ??) kumari and Kumud both compliment her. Kumud asks them to come inside. Kumari then asks Kusum what type of guy she wants. Kusum describes her dream boy inshort she's describing Saras and Saras enters. Kumari says so you want someone like Saras. Kusum is speechless. Khoti kaki comes and starts taunting them (why can't she mind her own buisness for once) and she starts "blame Kumud" game. Saras is mad after hearing this.
VC,DB and Gunn are shopping, Gunn is all lost in thoughts. DB asks her to forget and join them in shopping.
Kumud is cleaning the chandelier, Saras comes from behind. Kumud, without even turning feels his presence and offers him a dusting cloth(oye hoye what a love). Kumud is silently crying, Saras comments on chandelier that it's pretty. Kumud answers him it was pretty but now it has a spot. Saras replies that it's not chandelier's fault.
In shop, that Buddha groom and his sister comes and taunts VC. Everybody is listening (don't they have anything to do). DB answers her back, Kalika joins the other party and as usual starts her blah blah blah. DB then addresses the audience and asks them whether they'll get their daughters married to some aged guy. Buddha's sister answers her that their daughters are not characterless. Scene shifts to Kumud where Saras is still talking about chandelier that it's worth is from the light. Scene again shifts to market, DB defends her girls, buddha's sister then taunts DB how she's staying at her own mayka. They all start to leave, kali billi aka Kalika comes in their way and (fake) wishes them Diwali. Scene again shifts to Saras and Kumud,Saras cuts his hand accidentally, Kumud runs to his rescue and they start talking in riddles but in the end Kumud gives a chotu sa smile.
Back in market, DB is crying. VC tells her not to cry because of these people. She's their strength. Gunn tells her Kumud is just like her. Both husband and wife calm her down and they all decide not to tell anything to girls.
Everybody is dressed up for Diwali. Kumari is back with her Kareena karishma shop talk. Saras (in ishara) tells Kumud to smile and she smiles. Kusum and Danny have some moment as well (please make their couple asap and leave Saras and Kumud alone). Saras becomes a Santa Claus and gives everyone gifts. Then VC gives all the kids gift money. DB sends Saras to bring something. Kali billi calls up Kumud and tells her what happened in the market. Everyone is ready for the puja, Kumud is watching them from behind feeling guilty.
