Welcome to the super fast epi. of Mahadev ke Ram.

During their Vanavas, Sita spots a Golden Deer. Ram tells her she shouldn't be alone in Van. Sita asks him to get the Godern Deer for her. Ram is chasing the Deer, throws an arrow, which hits Deer, who turns into Marich. Ram is surprised seeing him. Marich screams Sita in Ram's voice before dying. Hearing that Sita tells Lakshman, Ram may need him, he should go to help him. Reluctant Lakshman draws Lakshman-Rekha, asking Sita not to cross it.

Indra tells Brhmaji, Ravan should not abduct Sita, she is Lakshmiji incarnation. Brhmaji is pleased at his concern, tells him this is Narayan's Leela.

Ravan comes there, trys to cross that line but fails. Disguised as a Sadhu, he asks bhiksha from Sita. She is inside the L-R. Sadhu feels insulted asks Sita to come to him to give Fruits. Sita crosses L-R. Ravan abducts her. Jatayu trys to stop him Ravan cuts his wing. Sita drops her Jewellery to indicate which was she has gone. After telling Ram, Lakshman about Ravan abducting Sita, he dies.

Ram & Lakshman in search of Sita meets Hanuman, who was waiting to meet Ram only. He asks Ram to help Sugreev in killing Bali. Sugreev's Vanar sena goes around, comes back with Sita's jewellery. Ram gives his ring to Hanuman. Jambvant reminds Hanuman of his powers, he had lost due to rishi Bhrgu's curse. Hanuman remembers everything. Jumps the Sea.

In Ashok vatika Ravan trys to convince Sita to forget Ram, who tells her Ram will kill him. After he leaves. Hanuman comes to crying Sita, gives her Ram's Ring. Sita is happy seeing this.

Hanuman destroys trees. Meghanaad comes to catch him. He willingly goes to Ravan's court with him. Vibhishan objects a suggeton of killing Hanuman as he is a doot. They burn Hanuman's tail, but he takes a giant form, flys across Lanka, burning it.

He reaches to Ram, gives him the news of Sita is in Lanka. With the help on Nal & Neel a bridge is made. They all reach Lanka.

Before starting the war, Ram makes a Shivling to pray to Mahadev, who appears, blesses Ram for success in the war. Says, this Shiving will be known as Rameshwar Jyotirling in future.

In the battle field. Kumbhkarna is killed. Meghanaad 's arrow hits Lakshman making him unconscious. Hanuman gets Saneevani with the Mountain itself. Ram thanks him for this help.

Ram & Ravan are in the battle field. Ram's arrow cuts Ravan's head, but he gets his 10 head back. Vibhishan tells Ram to hit his naval where Amrit-kumbh is placed, which is preventing his death. Ravan scolds Vibhishan for revealing his secret. Finally Ram kills Ravan, who remembers Mahadev's words of Narayan will be born to kill evil again & again. He understands who Ram is. He dies.

Ram, Lakshman, Sita comes back to Ayodhya in Pushpak Viman.

It was clear that this ME was done so as to not leave the Ramayan track unfinished. And what better occasion than Vijaya Dashmi to show this ME? And in one hour, whatever they could show, they did a decent job. I mean, how much can you expect to be shown in just one hour?

However, after watching yesterday's ME, I think two MEs - on Saturday AND Sunday - should've been dedicated for this Dussehra special. Details like Surpanakha's encounter with Lakshman, Shabari meeting Ram, little more screen-time for Sugriva, Jambvant, etc., Vibhishan joining Ram's camp, construction of Ram setu (boulders actually floating in water when Ram's name was written on them), etc. could've been shown properly. Also, when Hanuman was burning Lanka, Ravan having the flashback of Nandi cursing him about Lanka dahan could've also been shown.

Sita's agnipariksha was conspicuously absent. In DKDM, during Jalandhar track, Vrinda cursed Vishnu that his wife's character would be questioned by society. IMHO the agnipariksha (as controversial as it is) could've been used to show that Vrinda's DKDM curse did materialize. But it wasn't shown like that. So will the curse now materialize at all in DKDM? Uttar Kand???

But if Uttar Kand is not to be shown, what about Vishnu & Lakshmi? SRJ is busy with MB, so will we now have a different Vishnu in DKDM? Or, from now onwards, will we see sporadic appearances of SRJ as Vishnu in DKDM only as and when he is available?

And with completion of Ramayan, has DKDM finally entered Dwapar Yuga? Or will it be Dwapar Yuga in DKDM only after the Aghori track finishes? Questions, questions...
