Advik and Sama are lost in each other's thoughts. Abhay irritates Pia again while Khsitij catches a glimpse of Alina's changing eye colour and growing nails.
Abhay sat introspecting his actions in the last few days and accepted he was not contributing even 5% time towards his duty as a king. Instead he was more like a bodyguard now guarding Pia! He wondered whether he was neglecting his duty as a clan leader! But there was nothing he could do about it! Whenever he sat to plan anything, Pia's thoughts would flog his mind! He had tried a lot to search for the reason but he could find none. He knew they had a past but his memory failed him on that regard! But he did have feelings and so at last he had surrendered! He would look for the truth later, but for now he just knew that he had to save Pia! Still not sure when or how, but Pia's safety had become his primary concern! "She has to live!!" He sighed surprising himself and wondered when has he transferred from a ruthless Vampire king to a disillusioned, confused material?!! "Pia Rathod, you are sure turning me into a nut case!! But without you, I don't see any way either! And that's the real problem!" he cursed no one in particular. Abhay for the time being decided to keep his thoughts and confusions at the back of his head and started to walk towards the college cafeteria to fetch Pia. It was time for her classes to end and hence his time to take her home. Abhay walked through the corridor and soon reached the cafe arena. He found Pia right at the corner talking to Sama, "no Sama.. I cannot! I would have loved to.. but you know he must be waiting... I cannot keep him stranded!! Although I so wish I could see all those ... all the history about the past students.. but..." Sama was bit surprised as just a minute before she expressed least interest on visiting the history arena. But now suddenly she seemed completely enthusiastic about it! Sama gazed at her with a dumb expression and tried to word her astonishment when interrupting them a grave tone emerged from behind as Abhay addressed Pia, "Pia, that won't be a problem. I think you should go!" Pia with her baby brown eyes looked at him for several moments. And then averting her eyes she meekly protested "no.. no.. Abhay! I give you too much trouble. Not anymore. Maybe some other time..! Let us go!" he saw the forlorn look on her face and said calmly "Pia! Listen! You go. I have some work to do.. so by the time I return you can go!" Pia casted him an apologetic look and thanked him. Abhay nodded his head, and warned, "but remember... do not step outside the college until I return! Stay here.. and by here I mean here Miss Pia! No hide n seek with me! Got that?" raising his brows he gave her a don't mess... look. Pia again nodded like an obedient child and did not protest. Abhay looked assured "fair enough! But be alert.." he said the last words while looking at Sama who quickly gave a nod.

After a brief talk he ended the call and made a grumbling sound. "what did he say?" he turned his face to look at Abhinav and gave a disapproving look. "as usual.. track the target and do the job! No wrong moves.. no mistakes..! What else can he say?" Ajit made a face. Looking at his angry grey eyes and frustrated expression Abhinav could not blame him. Because it was not only him but all of them who had performed their duties as werewolves loyally all these years, knew what Rehan was doing could be called clever but not courageous! He was sealing the doom of their enemy- the Vampires- right. But they all knew for him it was more about revenge than War! As in war there were some rules but Rehan Verma had no rules in his Book! Abhinav wondered if being a leader this was his way, then what would he do if he had been the king... or.. if he does become one ?!! Abhinav checked the time "so what do we do now? Get the girl?" Ajit objected "no! Not now! We have to wait he said.. till the time is right!.. once we get the girl alone.. we grab her!" Therefore they stood there waiting for the right opportunity...

Sama shouted as she saw Pia going the other way. "hey Pia! The History World is not that way! Its on the right side!" she paced and held her hand. Pia gave a knowing look and grinned cleverly. "I know! We have less time! We have to leave before that kharoos.. bodyguard... returns! Now come, quick!" Pia fastened her hold and dragged Sama while for Sama the meaning took time to form. But when the words clicked she stopped and exclaimed "What? No.. Oh.. so this was your way to get him out?!! no! Pia! It's... it's not right! You have been attacked previously! We can't take the risk! I can't allow you Pia!" Sama said sternly. Pia gave a helpless expression. she pleaded "please Sama! At least you should understand me! I cannot live like this! I have not been in open since that day! He is guarding me 24/7! I feel caged! I know he wants best for me! But am not used to being like this! Help me Sama! We aren't running away! Just a stroll out.. what harm would it do?" Sama gave her a long look and at last agreed half-heartedly. "Okay! Fine! But not far." Pia grinned.

The walk was pleasant. They had reached the part of Dehradun where the wood was thicker compared to the other side and hence once inside everything around looked dark and dreary. Even the silence of the serene forest seemed uncomfortable and eerie. There was a kind of bad echo emerging from every corner- from the trees to bushes... that when they were half way through the forest Sama grasped the corner of Pia's eco-fabric shirt and gave a half choked sound. She fumbled to utter words. Her face was white with fear. "It.. does not feel good.. Pia! We.. must go! Its a mistake! Should not have c..come... he.here!" Pia looked at Sama, with a pale expression, her own sixth sense was saying something was not right here! Like something very bad was about to happen! And it was she who had convinced Sama to come into the woods, despite being warned by her again and again. But what could she do? The moment her eyes caught the sight of this forest she felt something ...like some memories... were calling her and she could not resist herself from taking a look! But now even Pia realised the decision had been a huge mistake as she herself felt an unseen fear coursing through her body. She turned her face unable to give Sama any assurance. Pia eyed the other side carefully. She had an inkling that there was something beyond that bush. "She could not let anything happen to Sama! No! It was her fault coming here in the first place! Sama in no way should be hurt!" Pia looked around suspiciously and motioned Sama to be silent. Hardly a minute or two had passed when something big jumped on Pia from behind and grabbed her. The attack was so sudden and unexpected that neither Pia nor Sama was able to prevent it! Sama gave out a loud cry and soon realised it was a Man! Pia interpreted soon enough that the man was here for her and not Sama. However strangely she felt relieved at her discovery and found her receding courage back! Pia tightened her jaw. "She is Pia Rathod! Misha's granddaughter! She is not going to give in so easily!! She will defend as long as she can! She could not let this bas***d take her captive without her consent." Pia told herself and a brave look came over her face. Pia struggled hard and somehow managed to slip from his hold and tried to run. The man lunged forward to grab her hair but Pia pushed him hard. But the man again grasped her arm before she could move and thrashed her on the ground. Pia fell with a thud and blood came oozing out from her nostrils. She felt a sharp pain in her forehead but refused to give in! All this while Sama stood like a doll frozen in time. She was so dazed with all of this that she lost the strength to think straight. But when she saw Pia being hurled to the ground, slowly her senses began to work and Sama realised she had to do something before it's too late! So with trembling hands Sama searched her pocket and grabbing her ultra-smart device started issuing voice commands to it frantically. She tried innumerable times but Advik did not answer. Sama started to tremble and began giving the commands again.
Pia stood up with the last drop of strength she had and realised her whole body was badly shaking. Her face was blotched in blood. But Pia knew she had to save Sama. This man would obviously kill Sama if she fails! So Pia swiftly took out the small knife she always now carried with her and plunged it straight into the man's throat. But at that moment another stout figure emerged from behind and punched her. Pia missed the spot. Her head reeled and she collapsed on the ground.
With the fifth call Sama was at last able to reach Abhay. "Danger... Pia- Please come- soon..!!!" that's all she could say to Abhay as she saw the two men binding Pia's legs with ropes while she laid unconscious over the wet soil. Sama saw her bruised body and Advik's instructions flew out of her head! Ignoring her own fear she stepped in-front and without thinking picking the nearby stone hurled it aiming the stout man's head. The stone missed the aim and hit his arm instead but the other lean guy was fast and almost immediately lunged on her. Sama fell and hit her legs but she kept on fighting. She scratched his face with her long nails and tried to pay him back for what he had done to Pia but unfortunately Sama was a human and she was completely ignorant about the power of their attackers. The guy gripped her arm and twisted it back and forth and with a crack sound Sama yelled in extreme pain. Her hand suddenly felt light and numb. Her right hand dropped beside her and she realised it had broken! But Sama refused to leave as she knew she had to detain them in any way till someone shows up and she was the only one who could do something now. So Sama with her left hand grabbed handful of mud and threw it toward his eyes. He scowled and instantly the other man was there! He pulled Sama up by her neck and thrashed her against the nearby Tree. Sama cried in Pain. The right arm was already useless and now the left hand was all she was left with as her legs had lost the strength to even stand on their own. Sama fell as she attempted to stand and the man in no mood to spare her came forward. And as he bent over her, Sama grabbed his collar. Her poor condition had little effect on him as he grabbed her hand and pushed a sharp object into her chest. The cold wetness began to spread and in no time her sea-green shirt turned red! The man felt no mercy, he was going to make another blow when the lean guy prevented him. 'Abhinav leave her! She is human! She is bruised enough! The girl is almost dead. Besides we aren't supposed to kill humans! We should leave before someone else comes! Hurry up! Leave this girl!" Abhinav grunted and stood up.

Abhay stormed through the wood and reached there thinking about nothing but Pia. He could smell the leaving traces of her scent. One look around and he knew what exactly had happened! An enormous shade of fury crossed his eyes and in extreme rage Abhay uprooted the tree beside! His whole frame started shaking violently. His eyes shifted and stopped over Sama. "It was all... all his fault! He should have known it! How... why ..did he melt by her extra-sweet words?! How.. he believed Pia to be suddenly so obedient!! How could not he see...?!! It was all his fault! He should not have left Pia alone!" Abhay leaned over Sama's half-conscious body and pulled out the sharp weapon from her chest. Some more blood oozed out and Sama gasped. Observing her wounds a look of immense hatred came over his face. "One mistake... and Pia was gone! And this innocent girl was paying the price! He had failed to shield Pia and his promise to keep her safe! This girl is dying... Pia's life is at stake... and it's all because of him! He.. Abhay Raichand- the Vampire- king" has acted" like an amateur!!" Sama urged in a feeble voice, "Don't waste your time on me Abhay, go and save Pia. Don't let my efforts go waste. Go!!!" "But Sama, you.. I can't leave you like this!!" Abhay pleaded half-heartedly. "Don't worry Abhay, Advik must be on his way, you go!! Right now!!" Sama urged again.

Abhay pushed the speed button to it's extreme limit. He had to think straight but right now he just could not! Her eyes.. her face.. everything about Pia stormed his mind! Pia and her thought blinded his senses. Abhay knew he wanted Pia back. He loved to hate her" or say better" play hate game with her! He loved the way she taunted him. He wanted to fight with her! Abhay told himself "I will find you and bring you back Pia! And for that I can shake ...heaven and hell... if need be!
