And, that is what they might be focusing upon, for now.Once Gandhari discovers his blindness (choosing to blindfold herself forever), Pandu becomes king (despite being the younger brother), and Shakuni turns Hastinapur into his permanent home (seriously, who was looking after Gandhar?), and making matters worse, it will all change. I mean, it HAS to change.Unless, of course, CVs want to invent their own MB, in which even mentioning Dhritarashtra's blindness is not allowed. Oh wait...
Bhishma is promoting him as would be king of Hastinapur. So he has planned him to make one. Shakuni later on comes as part of dawary, on his own wish. Even Subala & his wife knows about Dhritarashtra's blindness hence they are hesitating. Upto certain extent they are stiticking to the essence of the original script, though they are not following word to word what we have grown up reading so some find it difficult to accept.
