its the B'day of our own

~Shakti Anand aka Uday Singh~

None of us is unaware of his charm as Uday Singh in Bharat ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap. His smile, happiness, anger, repentance, bravery and everything makes us believe that he is a descender of Royalty.

Shakti Anand was born and brought up in Delhi, in a Punjabi family. He attended university at the Tamil Education Association in Delhi and majored in the Science stream. After that, he received his Master's degree in pharmaceutical engineering, and was working as a medical examiner with GE Capital in Delhi, when he received an offer to work on the television show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Shakti Anand began his television career on daily soap opera
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2000. He soon became a household name for his roles on such shows as:Saara Aakash,Sambhav Asambhavand Ek Ladki Anjaani Si.
He also hosted the first season of the crime reality show, Crime Patrol in 2004. He and his wife participated on the first season of the celebrity dance show Nach Baliye. He was currently acting on the new serial Godh Bharaai on Sony TV, where he was performing as the character Shivam. He is now currently working in the new daily soap called Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap as Maharana Udai Singh.

Shakti is a Gem as a person. In spite of many hit roles, he is still amiable, down to earth and transparent. He puts life into the character he plays, This day is to salute that man who has won everyone's heart not only by his acting, but by his nature.Wishing Shakti Anand a very very happy bday!!!!Wishing him luck for the bright future ahead.
