I can't believe they used a means of rape to bring the characters closer and make the story also progress further. I felt like tonight's episode was disgusting but had a good ending. Or maybe that is just me.
Ugh! And, the way the rickshaw driver was looking at her. Omg, I feel for her. They way Aastha tries to console herself by calling her Dad.
I got the shivers while watching this episode. It's like I'm emotionally involved in this show or with Aastha's character.

I also thought the same way
and though i didnt like the idea to begin with but at the same time thought
they could have used it to convey some meaningful message to masses
on how to avoid /react in such situations.
anyhow her calling her dad was not a bad idea.
but wanted something more than just showing Astha begging for mercy.

I haven't seen the epi.. but unfortunately the problem is, it is a guy who had to come & rescue her.. and as we have read recently.. even that is no deterrent.. I truly don't know what is the correct way to handle this situation.. as Angie mentioned, maybe they can show someone filing a police report against the auto driver.. after noting down the license plate number...

I waited all day to watch this episode and had high expectation that this was going to be one romantic episode.
I am sorry to say I am astonished and my heart is still racing and felt the torture Astha felt during the creepy Auto driver scene..

Excellent execution of the scene by the new director and the leads did a good job .

I agree with you too bad creatives choose this route to get Ashta to trust Shlok ..

Aviation, I am not against showing this type of events as long as they don't show it the way it is shown in movies and other TV shows where hero is the savior and that is the end of it. Even though in reality, such events have not got happy endings of movies and TV shows, it was shown quite logically in today's show. The heroine was not reckless to take the ride. She was shown with no options and got in the auto very reluctantly. Then she was aware of his lecherous glances and pretended as if her father was a cop. When that didn't work, she tried to use her phone and also yelled for help. Shlok was also not shown beating up tens of guys. The auto guy was shorter and physically less stronger than him and had no weapon. So Shlok beating him up was quite logical.

This show is by Spheres. They also are producers of Balika Vadhu. Today in that show too they showed a incident where the female lead (a nurse) is molested by a ward boy. Since this type of incidents are in news, I think they are raising a social point too besides the drama that would move the story forward. In that show, they are showing the female lead asking for justice. So I hope they show the same in EBP where this incident is reported as Shlok/Astha know the number of that auto.

R, I agree that it was a powerful scene where they focused a lot on Astha's fears and trauma. Shlok too was shown very considerate where instead of touching her, he understood her trauma and was gentle in his own way.
