CHAPTER-10
Rishi after reaching the hospital asks for the records of 5 years back when Indira was admitted In the hospital.Though initially the hospital staff refused to do so but when Rishi showed the legal permission paper for that they gave each and every infomation about whatever he asks for.He also asked about Zara too if she was also admitted to the same hospital.The nurse at the reception tells him that a patient named Zara who was operated in an emergency ward brought from Mumbai and had to be treated as soon as possible.He asks about the doctors who operated her and then goes to meet them.first he goes to Dr. Khuranna who is neurologist.He tells him that as Zara was in a critical state so she had to be treated in no time coz she had some brain injury becoz of some accident.But they were not able to save her at that moment.But soon a miracle happened n she was alive.Rishi knowing this gets more curious and asks what actually had happened at that time.The doctor says that as she was no more so we decided to shift her to mortary...i think it was on 29th july.Rishi remembers that it was the same date when Indira was going to be discharged and for that she was being shifted to another ward and during that time there was some electricity problem in the hospital due to which there was no light in the hospital for few minutes and when Indira was shifted in another ward,after check-up doctors declared her dead.His eyes gets moist.He comes out of his flashbacks and give his ears to what doctor is saying.doctor says that when Zara was shifted to mortary one of the compounder observed her limbs movement n inform us and when again checked her,she was perfectly fine though she didnt remember anything after gaining consciousness maybe due to the head injury.Rishi hearing this,his eyes get widened and sparkle with happiness.He asks for the reports of Zara and couldnt believe what he see in that.
He takes the report with him come back his home and starightway goes to his room n look for Indira's report.After checking both the reports he smiles and tear of drop fall from his eyes.By both the reports its clear that the one who was declared dead was not Indira.Rishi picks Indira's photo from the table and brings it closer to his face and kiss it and then hugs it close to his heart.He says, 'Smj zinda hai...Indira zinda hai.Thankyou god meri Indira ko wapis se meri zindagi mein laane ke liye.Aap nahi jaante ki aaj mujhe kitni badi khushi mili hai.He then looks at the photo n says,'Smj aap itne saal mujhse dur rahi aur mai is baat se bekhabar tha.lekin ab dekhiyega mai kaise aapko apni zindagi mein wapis lata hoon,chahe uske liye mujhe kuch bhi kyun na karna pade.Aur is baar aapko apnese alag hone nahi dunga.Humari bachchi ke liye,mere liye aapko thik hona padega.aur mai aapko thik karke rahunga.Ye aapke Rishi ka wada hai aapse.Ab dekhna kaise ye RK apni Indira ki yaadash wapis lata hai.He then winks and gives a smiling sound kiss on the pic.Just then Ahana standing at the room's door peeps in.
Ahana- Papa...(n runs towards him with high speed and almost crash her head on his leg.
Rishi place the photo on the table and turns and looks at Ahana.
Rishi- oye shaitaan (and lifts her and make her stand on the bed). Kya ho raha hai ye.
Ahana- (laughs) kuch nahi.
Rishi- kuch nahi achcha to ab dekho (n starts tickling her)
Ahana laughs out loud.Rishi stops.
Ahana- Papa mujhe aapke kandhe par baithna hai.
Rishi- Ok to aaj humari princess apne papa ke kandhe ki sawari karegi.
Ahana noda her head.
Rishi- to thik hai chalo [n make her seat on his shoulder and then goes downstairs]
Simmi asks him about what has happened in the morning to which Rishi jst smiles and tells her that everything is fine and lets Dad come first then he will give a good news.Though Simmi understood by his smile dats what may be the matter.In the evening when A.D. Returns from office,Rishi tells his parents about whatever happened in the hospital and both the reports.Both become happy,but A.D. advice rishi to confirm it first before jumping to any conclusion.Rishi assures him that by DNA test of Ahana n Zara everything will be confirm.and most probably by tommorow he will give their samples for the test.But he gets confused on how will he get Zara's sample.A.D. tells him that he can take that in office as she will be coming to office till the project work completes,but how it depends on you.So all the best for it.
Rishi thinking about all this goes to his room and take his laptop and get himself busy for some office work.Ahana comes there with her homework and sits beside him and get busy with her homework.Rishi lifts his head and looks at Ahana and also her messy hair.Rishi says ,' beta ye baal kaise banaye hain aapne,chalo jao pehle apni dadi se baal banwakar aao'.
Ahana replies,' Papa dadi to bahar gai hai'.Rishi then puts laptop on aside and bring the comb from the drawer and makes Ahana sit in front of him and start combing her hair.
Ahana gets in her playful mood n moves her head in different directions while playing with her toy making difficult for Rishi to comb her hair.Rishi tells her to sit quietly but Ahana is busy in her play.Rishi with so much difficulty at last make her ponies and make her sit beside him and tell her to complete her homework.Ahana nods her head n does her homework.Rishi looks at the comb and then notice at the hairs stuck in it.His eyes glitters and makes a phone call in a forensic lab to get some imformation.After ending the call he smiles and engage himself on laptop.
NEXT DAY
Rishi wakes up early and start getting ready for his office while whistling.Ahana who by now gets up notice his father's somewhat changed behaviour.She asks him ' Papa aaj aap itni jaldi kyun ready ho rahe ho'.Rishi tells her ' aaj beta mere liye sabse important din hai aur shayad aaj ke baad sab kuch pehle jaisa ho jaye'.Ahana didnt get anything what he said so she goes from there.On the breakfast table Simmi n A.D. too notice Rishi's jolly mood and surely they know the reason behind it but still they ask of what the matter is.Rishi says, 'ma-dad mujhe pata nahi kyun aaj mera dil keh raha hai ab sab kuch thik ho jayega'.Simmi replies, 'Beta mai bhi yehi chahti hoon jo tu soch raha hai waisa hi ho'.After finishing the breakfast everyne leave for their respective work.Rishi on reaching Ahana's school get out of the car with Ahana.Rishi sits on his knees,n says to Ahana- 'aaj aapko pata hai papa ka bohot important din hai,isliye papa ko apni sweet si doll ki sweet si kiss chahiye cheeks par aur best wish bhi taaki jis kaam ke liye aaj papa ja rahe hain usme paas ho jaye'. Ahana says - Papa aap dekhna aap paas ho jaoge,mujhe pata hai kyonki aap sabse genius ho' n she kisses on his cheeks and wish him luck.Rishi says, 'thanku my baby,ab aap school mein jao..bye'.Ahana bids him bye and Rishi leaves for his office.
On reaching the Office A.D. goes to his cabin which is on the 1st floor while Rishi takes the lift as his cabin is on the 10th floor.As lift door are going to be closed two hands come between it to open them so that she could get inside.Putting her hands on her chest,she takes deep breaths while Rishi looks at her with amusement.She after getting normal look beside her and notice that Rishi is staring at her.Rishi seeing her turns his head to opposite side.She again get to herself.Rishi again looks at her and with guilt feel voice says sorry to her.She turns towards him with amazement and asks him for what matter is he asking for sorry.Rishi answers her that he is sorry for whatever happened yesterday in the office.Zara after getting everything says, 'its Ok Mr. Diwan...kabhi kabhi aisa ho jata hai.mai samajhsakti hoon.Aap us waqt apni wife ke baare mein soch rahe the aur shayad isliye aisa hua.to aap us baat ke liye sorry mat boliye'.
Rishi looks at her with a smile and with naughty grin says, 'Waise ek baat kahun...aap itni khusbsoorat hain ki koi bhi agar aapko dekhe to apne hosh kho baithe'.
Zara looks at him in a confusing look as she didnt expect dis from him.She asks what he said.Rishi says, 'Maine kaha ki aap bohot hi khubssorat hain aur aapko dekhke to koi bhi sab kuch bhul jaye.Zara with open mouth and looks at him and says, 'Aap mere saath flirt kar rahe hain.Rishi replies her back, ' Mai aur flirt...bilkul bhi nahi,mai to aapki tareef kar raha hoon ki aap kitni khubsoorat hain'.
Zara points her finger at him with anger and is going to say something but the lift reaches the desire floor and the door opens.Zara puts down her fingers and comes out of the lift.She starts to go from there tieing her hair with a clutcher.Rishi too comes out of the lift and looks at her and says, 'Rehne dijiye na.Mera gussa apni in julfo par kyun nikal rahi hain.Aur aap in khule baalon mein bohot khubsoorat lagti hain,inhe aise hi rehne dijiye na'. Zara turns backs and give him a 'How dare you' look and giving him angry looks ties her hair and goes from there.Rishi looks at her going and smilingly says, 'Wohi gussa aur wohi tewar,ho na ho aap ho to meri Indira hi.Bas ek bar DNA test se ye confirm ho jaye,phir dekhiyega apne is Rishi ka kamaal.Kaise mai aapko apni zindagi mein wapis lata hoon'.Den to himself, 'Par yaar DNA test ke liye sample bhi to chahiye aur inka sample lena to jaise sher ke mooh mein haath daalne ke barabar hai.Kuch to sochna hi padega' and goes to his cabin.
Zara in her cabin looks at herself in the mirror and removes the clutcher from her hair and smiles to herself remembering Rishi's words.Another moment she ties them again and looks at herself in the mirror and says, 'Samajhta kya hai apneaap ko,ek baar maaf kya kar diya to is tarah se flirt karna start kar denge.Mann to kar raha hai abhi jaker unhe ek khinchker lagau' and with irritating looks says, 'Mai unke baare mein soch hi kyun rahi hoon aur kyun apneaapko aise sheeshe mein dekh rahi hoon'.She gets away from the mirror and sits on her chair.
Rishi in his cabin thinks of many tactics of how he will take Zara's sample but isn't getting any.Suddenly he gets a call from A.D. for a small meeting related to that project.He goes for the meeting.Zara too is informed about the meeting.Before leaving she again looks at her image in the mirror and removes the clutcher and smiles and leaves for the meeting.She goes towards the hall and sees Rishi coming towards the hall.She to avoid him hurridly tries to open the door to get inside but she fails and falls backwards.Rishi reach upto her and save her from falling.She leans back on him while Rishi held her hands and look at her if she is fine.Zara looks up at him.He gets lost in her eyes.Zara feels awkward and tries to get away from him with a jerk but cries with pain,'Ouch' as her hair get stuck in his shirt's button.Rishi panics at her cry and looks at her stuck hair.He tries to unstuck them which makes Zara to again cry with pain.Rishi held her shoulder and tells her not to move.Zara stands there while Rishi removes the hair from button while during this moment they both get so close unknown to each other.Finally Rishi successfully let her hair free.Zara turns back and looks in his eyes,Rishi too looks into her eyes and both have an eyelock while Rishi stillholding her from her shoulder making them more closer to each other.Rishi whistles and brings her back into the reality.Rishi says, 'Kahan kho gai madam.Zara looks towards her shoulder held by Rishi's hand.She jerkly get away from him.Rishi gives her a naughty smile.She gets inside.
Rishi looks at her shirt and notice that some of hair strands of Zara are still stuck in his shirt's button.He smiles and says, 'Wah kya khoob kaha hai kisine...Himmat-e-marda to maddad-e-khuda' and gives a thumbs up to god looking up and keep the strands in a polybag and keep it in his pocket and gets inside.Soon everyone assemles in the Hall for the meeting and the meeting starts.Rishi stares at Zara with naughty look and gives her a smile while Zara who is all busy in listening to seminar turns her head towards Rishi who is sitting opposite to her.She notice him staring at her and because of the incident which just happened she couldn't able to meet his eyes.She turns her head.During the seminar either Rishi stares at Zara giving his naughty looks or Zara stares at her to check if he is still looking at her.The meeting gets over and everyone gets up to leave.Rish too gets up to leave but Zara stops him with raze and asks, 'Aap meri baar-baar ghur ke kyun dekh rahe the'.Rishi replies- ' Mai kab dekh raha tha aapko,mera pura dhyan to meeting mein tha'.
Zara- ' Maine dekha tha aapko ki aap puri meeting mein mujhe ghur rahe the'.
Rishi- 'wah kya zamana aa gaya hai,ulta chor kotwal ko daate'.
Zara- ' Ji'.
Rishi- Aur nahi to kya...khud keh rahi hain ki aap mujhe dekh rahi thi aur aap mujhpar ilzam laga rahi hain.
Zara- Mai aapko nahi dekh rahi thi,aur mai aapko kyun dekhungi.
Rishi- Achcha abhi khud hi to aap keh rahi thi ki aap mujhe dekh rahi thi ki mai aapko dekh raha tha.Iska matlab meeting mein aapka pura dhyan mujhpar hi tha.(zara remains open mouth at his point).(Rishi bends towards her and says).Aur rahi baat ki aap kyun dekh rahi thi mujhe wo aap jaane..mai kaise bata sakta hoon.Waise mai hoon hi itna handsome to kya kare' (and winks at her).Waise bataiye na kyun dekh rahi thi aap mujhe aur sharma bhi rahi thi.
Zara- (
cant able to meet his gaze,so to avoid the situation she says) aapse to baat karna hi bekaar hai (and leaves from there).
Rishi smiles and call his Dad and inform him that he got her sample and is going to forensic lab to give them.he reaches the lab where he gives the sample for the test.The doctor tells him that he will get report after 7 days.
