I didn't believe the news that he'd be killed. Even when that blast occured in that episode I still felt maybe in the next episode we'll see Som cured or alive...
But no. Nothing of that sort happened. 😕
Som was adorable. Simply adorable. 😊 Not just due to cute and innocent looks but also due to his nature.
Anybody would be blessed to have a friend like Som. And any land would be proud to have sons like Som born on its soil!
Som was the best example of unconditional love and loyalty. ⭐️
A pure soul, a clear hearted and noble human being with no malice, no ambitions or hopes for gains. As wise, as he was unassuming. More clever than he got credit for. More alert and braver than many snarling old men out there. 👏
He was what you call a "true friend". Probably even more - an angel - who was with Pratap all the time. Be it play, practice, victory, defeat, rumination or mischief - Som was always there with Pratap! Part of his experiments and adventures no matter how scared and unwilling he himself felt. 😊
He gave all of himself to Pratap in friendship. Yet never expected anything in return. Nor was he possessive of Pratap. Neither did he brag about being Pratap's best friend.
A boy of rare simplicity! ❤️
Som was the only person in Pratap's life who listened to him, was there for him through thick and thin, yet kept him relaxed and never burdened him with any expectation - even as a friend!
After Bashar Khan's attack also it was Som who had found Pratap in a boat and saved him.
Many say they'd do anything for someone. But only rarest of the rare actually do so! And our Som was one of those! 👍🏼
No he was not employed by the Royal family as a guard or a courtier. But he had better sense of duty, alertness and loyalty than even the employed ones!
He never got any special training. Yet he did not bother about himself or his mother even once before laying down his life for his best friend.
Friends like Som are angels. A blessing from God for a few chosen ones.
Pratap is lucky not because he is saved. But because he was blessed to have a gem of a friend like Som.
The boy dismissed as a crazy kid kept running from pillar to post to somehow investigate suspicious stuff and save the day. But none of the so called high and mighty adults paid heed to him. 🤢
Without batting an eyelid, this "pagal ladka" (as rudely dismissed by useless guards!) took the trap of death upon him that was laid out for Pratap. 😭
No wonder, Bauji Raj also flew in fiery rage to capture Shams Khan and avenge his best friend's cruel death! 😭 For a moment, I felt numb when Pratap cried out aloud in anguish holding his best friend's dead body in his lap. 🥺
They are but kids only! 😭 I wonder how the one who sacrificed his life, managed to do so and how the other bore the pain and shock of his only true friend's ghastly death!
It was a testimony of the depth of their friendship that Pratap overcame his hesitation and killed Shams Khan with his hands and then did not stop to take honours or revel in praise but instantly rushed to pay last respects to his best friend Som! ❤️
Som's mother had every right to break down for her son's death. But I feel she should be proud also to have borne a son like Som who was so full of goodness and who laid down his life for a great cause!
It was touching how Pratap consoled Som's mother despite being shaken by his death himself. And it was befitting only that Pratap carry Som's arthi and perform Som's last rites.
No best friends should have to part like this. 😕 But then, nobody else deserved to lay Som to rest more than Pratap! Their bond is eternal!
Som rendered great service to Mewar by his sacrifice and saving Pratap. He was all heart - both as Pratap's friend and as a loyal citizen of Mewar. 😊
I must say Som was always a delight to watch onscreen and his presence was always refreshing. He was adorable because he had lot of qualities but he himself never knew how special he was!
Pratap is extraordinary. And he did have a special friend too, who had unique qualities and goodness that people rarely have in this selfish world!
I am happy that at least Guru ji and Jaywanta bai ji acknowledged Som's great sacrifice! 😊 They felt for him. They paid their respects to him through their words.
But it's utterly shameful that others did not acknowledge Som's sacrifice and he largely went away unsung in the show. 😲
Yet loads of threads and posts in the forum on Som's death show what an impact this sweet little character had on viewers! 😊
Kudos to the CVs of BKVPMP for creating the character of Som and applause to the young talent who brought this character to life! 👏 I don't know if Som existed in reality or not. But he was brilliant in the show and added beautiful emotional touch to the show! ⭐️
I extend my best wishes to the kid who played Som! He has a bright future ahead given the talent he has! 👍🏼
I'll miss you LOADS Som! 😭
This is one of the rare onscreen tragedies that has affected me in real life. I was sad earlier. And I still feel something amiss while watching the show knowing Som won't be there. 😭
I wish I had a friend or sibling like Som! In fact I guess anybody would wish the same.
Salute to that little boy's bravery, presence of mind, guts and that golden heart! 👏
*Respect* for the beautiful and eternal friendship that Pratap and Som shared! Unconditional love and loyalty! 😊
I wish Som's sacrifice had opened the eyes of useless snarling men in Royal palace too! 😡 That "pagal ladka" made you all look like dummies! Badapan umar ya bal se nahi. Badapan dil se aata hai! And Som proved it! 👏
Words are not enough to describe the mixed emotions I feel for Som...I love him, admire him, respect him and I am inspired by him! (I still wish he weren't dead and were saved by some cure or miracle but alas!)
I had written earlier also about him but my post got lost instead of being posted. 😳 But I couldn't hold myself back from writing about him.
It's as if I feel like thinking and discussing about him, his sacrifice and his and Pratap's friendship all the time!
Som did more than any family member or soldier for Pratap. Amazing boy! 😊
I guess nobody can fill the void left by Som's death in Pratap's life. Such bonds are exceptional. Life doesn't offer such relations often.
Som is special. And he will always be there in Pratap's memories (and the viewers' memories too).
I wish Som had been there to share Pratap's happiness when he was declared Guru ji's best student... 😕 He genuinely wanted his Bauji Raj to succeed in whatever he did! 😊 I am sure his spirit must be happy for his best friend.
I felt like crying when his flashbacks were shown in episodes after his death. 😭
We'll try to learn from your life. And your death. We'll remember you forever! RIP Som! ❤️
Lastly, for me, no other character can take Som's place in the show! They may introduce more friends or besties or loyal courtiers and soldiers. But this child will always remain special and exceptional!
Thanks Som! And thanks CVs and the young actor for giving a likening to Som's character! 🤗
