Usually its difficult to express the beauty of feelings through words but with this latest update you have proved its possible and you did it an excellent job. I think I have read something romantic like this after a long while. In fact felt like I was living those moments like Arnav and Khushi. Your words did have that power and I enjoyed the feel like anything.
It's magical right - the feel of awareness of first love and desire?
Some of my thoughts as I read are below---
"Now I understand why women judge a man by his shoes." ----- Really? Do they?
"They say predictable behaviour is safe. As one knows safe is ... well, safe. If one is honest one may admit that safe is boring. It lacks the thrill and excitement that comes with unpredictability. If one goes by that theory, Arnav's inability to predict Khushi's reactions could very well be the biggest reason for his enchantment."---- You have written these observations/facts very beautifully into the story. Of course Safe is boring. Unpredictability always have a thrill and excitement and that's always an alluring factor.
"Whispering lends an intimacy to a situation. It is as if the whisperer and the one being whispered to are the only two who exist in the world in that moment. Or it maybe that when one whispers in another's ears, the breath tingles the nerve ends. Or it was the dopamine, which chose that moment to shoot up to ridiculous levels making Khushi experience unknown pleasures." ----I loved this part, again it had a beauty of feelings explained in a unique manner.
"There are times in life when one doesn't need words to understand. A mere touch, a quick glance or a slight nod are enough to understand what the other is trying to convey. This kind of communication becomes a piece of cake when it is accompanied by heightened awareness that is bursting at the seams between two individuals."---- Again this part reminded me of my musings old days. Does such feelings really exist in real life? Isn't it the trademark feelings seen only in romantic movies and stories. Whatever it might be, reading it woven in such a manner in this story, I think I believe it deep down because I could visualize the scene with ease and depth.
