Yashashri Masurkar Anchoring For The Insync Channel

We had earlier reported that the talented actress Yashashri Masurkar is soon going to be seen anchoring a show called Buddy Baatein on India's first classical music channel. On the same we got in touch with her to know about her anchoring love, what made her take up this show, will we get to see her in daily soaps soon and much more.

Here is what she said...

Yashashri started her career with anchoring, "Yes, I have tried my hand at anchoring before. I have anchored some live events and I loved anchoring to be honest. In fact I started my career with anchoring for Saam TV Marathi."

Honored to be a part of India's first classical music channel she says, "Yes indeed, as I met many great musicians, dancers and got to know a lot about them. I found their performances awesome."

Yashashri talks about the anchors she likes and the one she looks up to when it comes to anchoring, "I like the way Manish Paul and Karan Kundra host shows, but I look up to Iliza Shlesinger who anchors the show called Excused. She has a brilliant sense of humor and she always comes up with quick and witty replies which are great."

Lately she has been disappointed with the offers that she was getting for daily soaps, "I was a little disappointed with the offers that I got for television in the time span when I was not doing a show on television. I did not find them challenging enough and so I thought of taking a break but I will come back when I get something interesting. Sometime in between 'Buddy Baatein' too happened. I got an offer for it and I couldn't deny since the show doesn't demand a lot of time from me too. So I happily accepted the offer and now I am enjoying it very much."

So will we get to see her in a daily soap soon? "Well I don't know when will I be back to act in daily soaps. As of now I am caught up with couple of things."

We wish that we get to see her soon in daily soaps too!
