SRK ready for R. Balki?

Post the phenomenal success of Chennai Express, Mannat is a beehive of activity.

A few days ago, filmmaker R Balki was reportedly in a closed-door meeting with Shah Rukh Khan for a few hours.
Bombay Times had reported in March that Balki would be working with SRK in his next. The same report also stated that the film would bring Amitabh Bachchan and SRK together in an unconventional way. But the bearded filmmaker had laughed off the news report back then.

We now hear that SRK has asked Balki to go ahead and plan his shooting. Whether or not these plans include Big B is unclear. On his part, Bachchan has told us that he would be doing a film with Balki soon. But we do not know if these are two different films or one and the same.

When asked whether he would begin shooting with SRK shortly, Balki said, "Nope". However, sources indicate there is indeed a development in that space. Balki chose to remain silent.

SRK will also start Farah Khan's Happy New Year on September 2 in Dubai.
