Dolly your question about Sid...yeah but they are clearly promoting Madhubala more. I guess because in terms of voting, they can get more from DD fans than Sid fans...

Balika Vadhu attracts solid TRP audience. The kind who wouldn't waste money sending hundreds of SMS to make their favourite win. Besides Shiv aka Sid Shukla doesn't attract obsessed pankhis.

They are promoting her as Madhubala. In their weird mind, apparently Madhubala needs to be a certain way on the show while JDJ is going on.🥱🥱🥱

There is no question in my mind that DD will win. I guess the reason why JDJ is priority for them is because it usually gets more TRP than their regular soap operas. Dance reality shows get a wider audience - usually the gender mix of the audience is more even, unlike soap operas that get mostly a female audience.

This is why channels care more. Besides I think at least part of the chaos in MB is caused by VD's pay negotiations. They were probably going through some uncertainty about whether he would stay or leave and whether his character needs to be phased out. Now that he's staying, his character's back with a vengeance.
