Salman Khan is very fond of his two sisters – Alvira and Arpita.

Alvira is the elder of the two sisters. She is married to actor-filmmaker Atul Agnihotri . Arpita is the younger one. She is the pampered one of the three Khan brothers.

Salman shares a very strong bond with his two sisters. Alvira has thrown birthday parties for Salman on different occasions. Arpita, on the other hand, has received many an expensive gifts from Salman on her b'days.

It was Arpita who spotted Sneha Ullal in a Mumbai college and pressed Salman to cast her as his heroine in Lucky – No Time For Love . So, in a way, the Ash-lookalike Sneha is Arpita's find.

Elder sister Alvira has been designing the look of Salman in films. It was by default Alvira became Salman's fashion designer in Maine Pyar Kyon Kiya . The actor liked the fashion taste of his sister so much that he insisted her to design his clothes in more films.

So Alvira is now designing for Salman in as many as three films – Salaam-e-Ishq , Partner and Babul .

Sources close to Salman say that the entire Khan clan is a very close-knit family. But Salman is particularly very fond of his two sisters. Alvira and Arpita, on the other hand, call Salman their "doting brother."
