On a serious note..Most parents if not all, will sooner or later accept it.. But one may have to go through an emotional turmoil in the process even to let them know.. Talking bout myself.. I would seriously like to avoid such tensions.. Probably because I already have a lot of it to handle without choice😆
That said,
If I do fall for someone my parents may not like..I will stand by that person..I know eventually they'd accept if not immediately..

 
This is what I meant to say.  When a couple are willing to face complications they should go ahead,  agree it will put parents into an emotional turmoil.   Both me and my parents have compromised at different levels to keep each other happy. 
 
In the story Manoj's sister was forced to marry against her wishes, if she had been brave and married the guy of her choice her parent's would be unhappy.  Now she is unhappy for rest of her life.
