ChhanChhan came inside uma ben's room to give her chhas (butter milk). Uma ben immediately got tensed and worried about how much chhanchhan has heard her confidential talks over the phone. When she asked chhanchhan about it, she said she heard that manav has to stay with his grand-father in order to learn work related to business. Uma Ben sighed sipping her chhas.
Manav asked his eldest brother mukut that why was he leaving for ashram so early. He said if he takes the car along with him then their grand-father would have given him a long lecture on petrol. Manthan asked him to take train to which he said dadaji (grand-father) doesnot like to travel in train. He also said that he doesnot have a problem with the train but its toilet when the train is moving. Manthan give mutuk tips how to impress dadaji and then convince him to come back home in taxi instead of bus which he always prefer to avail.
At night when Manav was in lovey dovy mood with chhanchhan, suddenly chhanchhan hears puchpuch's cry and becomes restless. Manav holds he back when she protested to have a look at puchpuch. But when chhanchhan insisted him, manav felt neglected. He said that she can alteast forget puchpuch for sometime and be with him as he was dying to be with him.
Manav blurted out that when he went to meet his mother, she was a bit upset with the whole puchpuch fiasco. His mother said that chhanchhan doesnot treat her as her own and doesnot believe that even his mother likes puchpuch and care for him. Manav accused chhanchhan for loving puchpuch so blindly that she doensot see others feelings.
Chhanchhan felt a little low and said that there is nothing like that in her mind.
Manav apologized to her about being a little rude and said that there are other people who can take care of puchpuch besides chhanchhan.
But chhanchhan being a dog lover couldnot hold herself back and started requesting manav telling him that, puchpuch always remains alone and he needs care.
Manav was a little frustrated hearing her plea and finally asked her to visit puchpuch feeling neglected.
Chhanchhan felt bad about being so pushy and decided to lit up manav's mode. Then they had their good time with each other.
On the other hand uma ben released puchpuch from his dog house and manipulated him to go out of the house. Once he was out she closed the main gate so that puchpuch doesnot entire even if he wanted to.
In the morning every one was preparing the house for dadaji's welcome. Cleaning the whole use and preparing his favorite food.
Chhanchhan asked mansi to give the milk to puchpuch while she helped sanjana to clean the spilled milk over the table.
After few moments mansi come running and tells that puchpuch was not in his dog house. Chhanchhan becomes panicky. Chhanchhan tells manav also. Uma Ben in her melodramatic tone scared chhanchhan that puchpuch might run down a car.
Manav, Chhanchhan, Mansi and Jigu all started searching puchpuch while dadaji arrived at bori sagar house.
The moment he entries he gets hit by chhanchhan who was pacing over the entire house to find puchpuch. The kalash (container containing his wife's burnt ashes) was about to fall when chhanchhan catches it on time and handed over to him saying sorry.
Chhanchhan couldnot recognize him so helplessly she stared at Mukut bhai. He barely whispered that it was their dadaji.
Chhanchhan touched his foot and flew from there to find puchpuch leaving dadaji stunned.
Uma ben welcomed him in the house.
Dadaji asked who was that crazy girl. Uma ben told him that it was manav's wife, his youngest grand-daughter-in-law Chhanchhan.
Chhanchhan asked manav to stay back as dadaji was home and said she will go and find puchpuch.
One by one everyone met dadaji almost shivering in front of him as his presence made them go weak on their legs.
Dadaji asked Ranjana whether she has learnt how to cook properly or not and Sanjana whether she can speak on her own without imitating her sister ranjana. He embraced Mansi and asked her not to touch his feet as she and other house ladies were considered to be devi laxmi.
Manav arrieved late so dadaji did not acknowledge his dokh (when he touched his foot).
Dadaji asked about chhanchhan and also said about his inhabitance of wearing salwar instead of saree. Uma ben said as chhanchhan belongs to a modern family she cannot wear and carry off sarees due to which there was an ugly incident in the kitchen.
Dadaji accused chhanchhan a lot and finally manav stood for her and told him that she was not like that. It was just that puch puch had gone missing that's why she was not there with them.
When dadaji came to know that puchpuch was chhanchhan's dog he felt as if he doesnot belong there anymore. He looked at the kalash and asked his wife to call him to her in heavens as he cannot tolerate this kind of situation anymore.
Uma ben totally tried to twist the situation and presented her words so carefully manipulated that it seemed to dadaji like puchpuch was more important than dadaji.
