I think siddeshwar and Shakuntala are working together. Siddeshwar told Deva yesterday of his intentions, so he planted cutter in deva's room.
Then next plan let shakuntala take the blame to make sona/kanhaiya thinking culprit is out of the way now.
Now leave shakti dham but main brain behind all this will be going with them where ever they are moving to. (Siddeshwar)
