I would like to add that a film is a success IF it makes profits for everyone involved. The producers, distrubutors, etc.
In this case, it has been reported that YJHD has been sold at approx. 55 crores to all India distributors. There are reports that the budget of the film is 40 crores, could be 50. But, either way, the fact that the producer have sold the film for 55 crores to distributors is great because that means that YJHD had already entered the profit zone for producers before film released! On top of that, the satellite, music and other rights, and the film's fantastic business in theatres, all combined means that the producers will make a TON of money, could be 100 crore profit!
The distribuotrs, who bought the film for approx. 55 crores, will make good profits too because the film's lifetime collections will be in the 180-190 range, which means that the distribuotor share will be *approx* 90-100 crores, which means approx. 40 crore profit for distrubtors.
The film is already a Blockbuster, and soon it wiill enter ATBB territory
