Damn, I was so looking forward to Meera- and his pair. He was supposed to be the main lead. I hope they give him his role or do something man

Abhaas Mehta, better known as Agastya in Zee TV's Badalte Rishton Ki Dastaan(Ravi Ojha Productions), is undoubtedly a very talented actor. As a matter of fact, he has been appreciated by one and all for his negative avatar in Star Plus' Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon.

However, it looks like the audiences won't get to see much of this artiste inDastaan anymore.

If you're wondering why, let us tell you that the actor is about to put down his papers sometime this or next month as he isn't happy with his character graph in the show.

In fact, a source went on to reveal, "Abhaas was assured of a certain number of days for shooting, but his days aren't being used now and neither is his character shaping up as promised. Therefore, the actor has planned to move out of the project. In fact, he has already spoken to the production. They have assured to relieve him in a month or two."

While Abhaas refused to comment, producer Mitali Ojha remained unavailable for comment.

We also buzzed a channel personnel but did not receive any comment.

this is just so unfair
many of us are watching dastaan for agastya
and agastya meera's story
abhaas please dont quit
guys please request him to stay
the producers shouldn't have neglected his character
and not liveupto the promise given to him

agree i hope they reconsider decision
lot of viewers love agastya meera story
and agastya character
it can be seen in the AT also
importance should be given to him

Shocked 😲

The only character which I found to be completely unique is Agasthya

This character was anything but typical

His growing friendship with Meera was shown very nicely with right scenes, conversations and pace

I dont want this to be true

Many of the viewers will be heartbroken.

I hope both Abhaas and the production re-consider their decision

abhaas should think again and not take the step of leaving...he is a talented performer and his acting is great in scenes with kiran sir and sanjeeda...agasthya's scenes with balraj and meera created impact. he should think of the fate of the show. the show is already under scanner for two months...wait till two months then put papers. if makers promised something and didnt deliver it to him then its wrong but he should think of the broader pic..its a huge starcast show and someone or the other will always have to be considerate to adjust. i hope he thinks of waiting for two more months...before taking the decision Edited by refreshed - 10 years ago

Abhaas is one of the star attraction of the show from the start. An important character and a loved character's exit from the show now can prove to be fatal for the show. Many fans wait anxiously for Meera and Agasthya's story and scenes. With the show already stuck with a danger sign because of low trps... makers should think of giving him his due position as they promised. I dont see the show lasting long with such big changes so early starting with the slot change to Abhaas quitting. Give equal treatment to all the actors and make use of their potential.

This is really weird, I had this thought/worry starting a day or two ago after seeing Agastya's absence.

It's the media's fault too. Maybe the PH's. The new entry was touted again and again as the leading man. Mr. Kiran Karmakar is already set in his place as the lead (though negative) so he wouldn't have any problem.

If Agastya's out, then I too have very little reason for watching. I watch this show as a whole and enjoy it, but Agastya and Agastya Meera is the main draw for me.
