AarYa OS – By the Beach side
Yash and Aarti had moved to Mumbai and had begun their new life with their family of four. It was time for them to spend some moments reminiscing about their past journey of how they met, why they took so long to accept each other as a spouse though they were very supportive to each other from the very beginning. It was also time to have all the fun which a couple should after all the barriers of doubt, misunderstandings and reservations have been broken.
Time to feel free and
time to fly with the winds of romance,
time to lift oneself to the heights of excitement and
time to bond in a way such that there could be no more two entities but just one soul in two bodies.
As they walk along the beach side –
Yash: Aartiji, have you ever wondered about this long journey that we have walked together?
Aarti: Long? What Yashji, It is just more than a year that we are married…and you are already feeling it is a long one?
Yash: No…I was not talking in the time frame but in the number of challenges we have faced, the number of beautiful moments that we've had and also the number we missed and could have had!
Yash was now holding on to Aarti by her waist which wasn't as it was earlier….after all she had just delivered a cute little baby boy.
Aarti: Hmmm, I agree –but tell me Yashji, what took you so long to accept that "that night's mistake" was actually Not one? Why did you feel so guilty about it?
Yash: Aartiji, it wasn't my conscious act on that day----so somewhere I felt that maybe I did not truly love you and just went ahead with my desires of the moment. But then later on, when I realized that it was YOU whom I loved, which must have prompted me to get close to you, then I accepted that it wasn't a mistake after all……
Aarti: Do you know why I took so long to accept you?
Yash: Maybe the lies of Prashant being alive and you lying about being a widow must have been weighing on your mind? Right?
Aarti: Yes, Yashji, I hated to lie on this issue right from the beginning and more so as I got to know more and more of you it was bothering me so much ---plus Prashant becoming your friend had upset me so much.
Yash: Let's forget about all that now. Let's see where we should go from here.
Aarti: For some Bhelpuri!!!! Remember – you made some for me when I was pregnant?
Yash: Of course, I do. Want me to make some today too for you?
Aarti and Yash go towards a "chat waala" and enjoy the spicy bhel and pani puris.
Aarti had started getting hiccups now and Yash wanted to help her out. So he gets her an ice cream.
Aarti: Yashji, you don't want one for yourself?
Yash: I'll have from yours.
They walk with the ice cream and sit by the sand and Aarti has her ice cream first.
Aarti: Yashji, you too can have a bit.
Yash now says: No—I'll have it from you—from your lips I mean.
Aarti: Oh God, we are in a public place and you can't do that Yashji.
Yash: Why, what makes you think so?
Aarti hands over the ice cream to him now and says: You may have the whole thing yourself. I'll get another one for myself.
Yash holds her back and says: Ice cream will be one---either you have it and I have it from you or I have it and you have it from me---which option suits you?
Aarti could not believe that the Yashji she knew –who was so mature and quiet and reserved could get this naughty and ziddi!
Aarti: In which case I'll have it first.
Yash: Okay – so that's what I said earlier---you won't be able to have it second!
Aarti takes a lick and looks at Yash. He closes in for a taste of it when she quickly gets up and runs away.
Yash follows her and catches onto her pallu….so she had to stop lest her saree gave way.
Yash now comes to her and says: These are the moments we missed Aartiji – moments of fun --- filled with so much love….
Aarti simply looks at him and gives him a hug.
She says: Can we go home now?
Yash: But why so soon Aartiji? The beach side is so cool and beautiful.
Aarti: Hmm, but what I want now cannot be done here by the beach side.
Yash and Aarti don't waste a second and head towards their destination ---back home – in their room----in each other's arms!
