I think Rama touched on this in her post...but I just wanted to make a post of my own anyway... 😆.

Can you guess who I'm referring to?

Emily of course.

I don't really want to compare her to Sandhya...because everyone is an individual...but I do want to say a few words about her.

Now it's no secret that up until recently I didn't think too highly of Emily...for the simple reason that she fell in love with Mohit...Ugh!! Pardon me while I go and puke...🤢

Okay I'm back...🤔

And she didn't just fall in love with him...but they both made a mistake...but Mohit didn't own up to it and treated her like...well...dirt. 😡

Actually if the guy whose baby you are carrying doesn't even want to lend you a pen...I'd say he's treating you much worse than dirt...😳

Anyways...we all know the story...She took her cause to Maasa and with Sandhya's help won over not just Maasa, but the entire village...phew!

So the marriage took place..and not surprisingly Mohit basically took a vow of celibacy on the wedding night...😲

It sort of defeats the purpose considering there is already a bun in the oven...anyway let's not get into the details of whether Mohit should woogly or not...because...

Firstly, I think Emily is better off without him and...

Secondly...I do not wish to corrupt the minds of minors like Samah Baji... here on the DABH forum...😳

Okay...so I'm going way off topic here...😆

I just basically wanted to say that although I still have my reservations about Emily's IQ level...I'm proud of her and the way she's blending into the colorful parivaar known as the Rathis.

I also wanted to thank the CVs for showing that there are girls who can do it all...👏

Emily was in college, and she was working at the same time.

She not only knows how to cook a delicious meal and clean pebbles from grains...but she can sew better than Meena. 😎

She is super obedient to Bhabo, and doesn't shy away from housework.

She left her education to put her family first...something I'm sure Bhabo secretly appreciates.

She knows between right and wrong... but doesn't go into thanedarni mode.

Plus she's a decent person...and sweet natured. Rather than falling quick prey to Meena's taunts, she handed her snake of a husband her own money to invest.

Of course...this last point again makes me suspicious of her IQ level...but I'll save that for another post. 😆

Acha I'm totally confused by everything. So these days I don't watch.

But Samah Baji not getting confused with woogly matters is of the utmost importance so I felt I had to comment.

Nice post Fatima. Emily is indeed sabse Siyani Beeendani. I think they made her like that so that they give the viewers an impression that it is not such bad idea to have an IR marriage. Such girls also adjust. In fact they do a better job than girls from your own community.She has all the qualities which Bhabo wants in a Bahu. I personally also believe one does not need a super woman as Beendani. An ordinary one would do.

1. She is proficient in household work be it cooking or stitching.

2.She does not talk much and is obedient.

3.She is going to give Bhabo a grandchild.

4.She loves Mohit

5.Is reasonably educated but not ambitious about having a career.

6.Is happy to be a housewife, dresses decorously, remains in the background and is generally respectful towards elders.

7.Did not pursue the legal recourse too much which could have put her son in serious trouble.

8.Is not vicious like Meena as of now.

9..As of now not likely to be a threat to Bhabo's position or authority.

10. Does not resent adopting a Hindu way of life.

Yes, in the eyes of Bhabo she is indeed the best Beendani. She could not have got a better deal for her hopeless and evil son. Looking at Emily it makes me feel it is not a bad idea to be evil. The evil are getting a great deal be it Meena or Mohit.😆

Emily is good but at times she behaves like a person with Less IQ which i don like.🥱
I would not say that she s the sayani beendani for the same reason.

It is the same emily who shouted at bhabho & her behaviour in her visit to RM for the first time. So respecting elders - I doubt her intentions here.

It is the same ems who disrespectfully spoke to her parents wen they found out she is pregnant. Where does respecting elders arise here?

To me i think ems is trying to play safe until she gains the respect & love of mohit. That's it.

Shobhana take it as a sentence revealing my frustration over Meena going unpunished time and again and her kaands getting bolder by the day...😆. I cannot make out are they trying to teach us new set of morals through Meena...😆 Should we change our moral codes and take in this Nayi Soch. No matkas for Meena but daily bashing for Sandhya...Kya aap ko abhi bhi samaj main nahi aaya what CVs want us to become...😉

What we should adopt and what we should leave...😆

Nice post, Fatima!

I think there it is something weird about Emily being presented as "perfect daughter-in-law". I didn't expect that she will adapt to another life style, all of a sudden (in Maasa's village she did not seem to be so good in everything). It's like she read a manual overnight and then put everything in practic. I mean, rituals, cooking, not sewing or cleaning wheat (I don't see her asking for advice or help in doing any of those stuff).

I get that all this "perfect daughter-in-law" is because CVs have a hidden plan for later. Until now, she has been presented as a contradictory character: strong vs.weak!

Probably, the catch is in the fact that I can't really accept in my mind that she is not one of the sharpest knifes in the drawer, contrary, I think she will prove very sharp! I am thinking that CVs put too much effort in making her appear too "neutral, insignificant".

Rama, I also think there is a storm on the way! 😃. Let's hope nothing important will be damaged...😆

Alexxa I think Emily's complete adoption of Marwari way of life is basically an attempt by the CVs to humor us as there was a lot of criticism in the forum regarding the way the track was handled. They are sending across a message that other religion girls can also be good. They want us to end up with a positive feel about inter faith marriages.I am not denying that Emily may turn bad later. That to my mind will be a combined effect of Meena's instigation and scheming, Mohit's indifference and Bhabo insulting Mohit in public on some issue which will not go down well with Emily. She is madly in love with him and it does not make a difference to her whether he reciprocates or not. She will not for ever take it lying down if Mohit is humiliated in public. She will fight for his rights. As of now to my mind she is not play acting. She does seem to be good but gullible.

some thing abt emily v all dnt knw s going to reveal soon,lets wait na,v will knw abt her true color,oops.y cvz showing emily as pakka dil for bhabo,they will change her soon,may be another meena or bhabo or chavi.lol.

as per spoiler pics,they showed emily wearing western cloths,but cvz edited that scene in dabh,see there is mystery.
