Bad news for Farhan who is currently playing the male lead in Sony TV's big ticket showChhanchhan starring Sanaya Irani and him . The hottest buzz of the tinsel town is that Farhan is now finally being replaced by Jay Bhanushali. Yes! You heard it right, the news for Farhan's replacement has been doing the rounds for quite some time now. And the verdict is out, Jay will be the new Manav in the show.

Poor Farhan has been criticized for not being able to live up to the expectations of viewers. Though he has tried hard to impress the audience yet there is no sizzling chemistry between the lead actors in the show. Hence, the producers of the show had no choice but to audition other actors who can play this role with conviction.

While the makers keep on denying the same, sources states that the hunt for a new lead is on full swing. And after the names of Arjun Bijlani, Mrunal Jain and others being offered the show, the latest name happens to be of Jay Bhanushali. Jay is at present is busy preparing to host the upcoming dance reality show, Dance India Dance Super Moms.

It seems that newbie Farhan needs a potion of fairy dust to sparkle his luck. This was a dream show for him but hard luck that he is now being thrown away. As per a source, "Yes, Jay has been approached but there are many others who have been approached, too. Things are yet to materialize. But the channel and the production house are not on the same page as far as the replacement is concerned. While the production house wants to replace the actor, the channel is against the idea.

Don't you all think, this show is jinxed? I mean there were so many names speculated for the male lead even before the show was launched. Varun Kapoor from Humse Hai Lifeand Vishal Karwal were the names which were doing the rounds for the leading man and then Farhan was the final choice. The show has not even completed six months and the main actors are getting dumped! Sanaya is in a safe zone, she is donning the role of a bubbly,charming girl very well.

Of course we know that she has done lot of dailies and have that star quality in her but she can't pull the show alone. Audience is getting extremely upset with Farhan's acting skills and producers are worried about the dropping popularity. So they had to take a hard decision of taking away the role of Manav from Farhan and giving it to Jay who they believe can work better.

Hmmm.. it is gonna be really interesting to see the chemistry between Jay and Sanaya. Sanaya fits the role perfectly and has a huge fan base, Jay on the other hand is very popular in reality television.Both will look good but will they win our hearts by their performances?
