MTV starts with new show - Splitsvilla season 6

What????? Yes, yes and a bigger yes Splitsvilla is launching it's next installment of season 6 on 25th of May and we are ecstatic to break this news that a new chat room will be joining the premiere of the season and will be with you throughout the Season 6.

• So, if you find any contestants of Spiltsvilla Season 6 hot, feel free to say it aloud in our chat room and who knows that you might find some new friends and old to agree to your verdict (and they say you should always know your competitors….. Well you'll know them all  )
• If you see or feel sparks flying between two contestants, you can always see what others feel about it and discuss about and around them as much as you want.

That, the romance reality show Splitsvilla season  6 is all set to make it bigger, better and raunchier with Sherlyn Chopra hosting the show along with VJ Nikhil Chinappa who has been hosting the show since its debut.

To be shot in the God's own country – Kerala, the show will see Sherlyn playing cupid to the contestants. So, if last five seasons had your toes curling who knows what will happen now (of course we will, as we will be with you throughout the season;))

Sherlyn who was really excited for the show says "the cool youth show will provides me with ample scope to express my individuality in ways more than one". "In the land of spices with all the young and hot contestants, it is going to be a helluva great experience. I am really looking forward to the audience response,"

The last season ended in June last year where Paras Chhabra and Akansha Popli were declared the winners.

This season there will be there will be 8 hot boys and 8 spicy girls named Priyanka Chauhan, Pari Sahni, Peenaz Ahmed ,Priyanka Chandel, Purvi Singh, Ruby Dutt, Subuhi Joshi, Shatakshi Joshi, Aman Pahwa, Prabhjot Sahota, Arjit Taneja, Nitin Sharma, Gaurav Chopra and Nawab Faizi.

The new season will judge the contestants on the basis of their desirability factor that is not limited to looks alone, but also includes attitude, strength, competitiveness and confidence.

Aditya Swamy, EVP and channel head, MTV India, said: "We are excited about adding a new twist into the format and the hottest show on TV just got hotter."

"Splitvsilla" brand has several extensions.

"Web exclusive like 'Break Diaries & Lovisodes', Splitsvilla-themed parties across the country, and a range of Spiltsvilla lingerie are just some of the things we have added to the franchise over the years," Swamy added.

Nikhil, who has been hosting the show since the first season, said each season keeps getting better.

"This year the game of love is going to be more challenging, yet fun with new twists and turns. It's not going to be an easy battle for the girls and boys," he added.

Ready to go on air May 25 at 7 p.m. on MTV, "Splitsvilla 6" will see eight boys and eight girls fighting their battle of love to win the crown of the king and the queen.
