Alisha Dewan (Heli Daruwala) in Suvreen Guggal – Topper of the Year is more than just a rich spoilt kid. So, her mother is a big designer and people know Alisha as her daughter than in her own right. She has an uphill task of carving a name for herself as a fashion designer in a profession where comparison with her mother are bound to happen. Being a "celebrity's" kid is a mould she has to break out of. Moreover, Alisha is assailed with insecurities. Insecurities of self-worth, of being loved for who she is and of being abandoned. She came a second in her mother's life and fears that is what is her fate where every relationship in her life is concerned. So, she behaves in a certain fashion, that may seem arrogant to some. She is confident and cocky. She is professional in her dealing with others. But her vulnerabilities are rarely seen by any.

Yuvraj Singh (Shivin Narang) had seen a side of her that made her feel worthy. She became his friend and slowly fell in love with him. Little did she know that what she mistook for love was mere friendship. Alisha has now learnt that he loves Suvreen Guggal and she is not happy. Her insecurities have been proven right. But instead of resigning herself to the fact of losing yet another love in her life, she is going to fight for what she believes is hers. She is a woman scorned. And she is out to seek retribution. What is going to happen to Suvreen Guggal (Smiriti Kalra)? Will she lose the love she has just found through Alisha's machinations? Well that is something you will find out as the story unfolds.

Heli Daruwala is the girl playing Alisha Dewan. She moved in as a replacement and has taken up the mettle of portraying Alisha's various shades in a manner that has endeared her to the viewers. She of course, has a fan following from her previous show Humse Hai Life (HHL) by the same production house, 4 Lions Films. And after doing an out and out negative character Saloni, in HHL ,who used every situation and person to suit her needs is not what Alisha's character is all about. She initially had a little difficulty playing Alisha as she is not a negative character and playing Saloni was still fresh in her mind. Now, after a month or so, she has learned to play the nuances better and we as audience can see that. Heli is so unlike her character be it Saloni or Alisha is something one can see when on the set. Her rapport with the co-stars be it of HHL and Suvreen Guggal is one of laughter and lightness.

Did you know that Heli is a dentist. She got HHL after her internship though she had also done a small stint in Love You Zindagi as Siddharth's girlfriend during her internship. She does assist her professor whenever she is not shooting. When asked what would you be doing if not for being an actor or a part time dentist, and her answer is she would have been a dancer. She is trained in Bharatnatyam. Her love for acting is what brought her to HHL and that got her popularity as well. Well, here is a young girl who can handle two careers at the same time though, dentistry takes a little bit of a back seat. Her smile, (yes, its not courtesy her dental job), is all her own, warm and affable person, she is soft spoken and sensitive. It is a pleasure to know Heli who always meets you with affection and warmth.
